• Formulation of contract for operation and maintenance of LNGI terminal that included tender documents preparation, tender issue approvals, tender issue, bid queries and resolution via bid bulletins, bid receipt and evaluation and award approvals, award of Contract with clear acceptance and bond/policy receipts.
• Contracts for OEMs. Profile required scope development, designing compensation structures, committee recommendations and tender preparation to award.

• Formulated and managed contracts for mechanical maintenance, inspection services, OEM specialists/engineers for production plant. Included scope development, tendering and contracting strategy, devising compensation, complete tender process execution, bid evaluation, negotiating terms and conditions/pricing, award approvals, drafting final contract, award and post award contract management.
• Handled drilling contracts involving consultancy like HSE risk studies, conductor analysis. Rental hire of equipment package. EPIC for fabricated assembly for casing pipes.
• Post award contract management activities included kick-off meetings and progress meetings. Overseeing compliance with main obligations and conditions of contract with contractors, progress of the contracts resolving any issues, variations, assist in claims management, dispute resolution, driving cost reductions.
• Development of contracting procedures and updation with benchmarking.
• Devised specialist manpower provisioning contracts for maintenance, overhaul of various OEMs packages. Action included need identification, pre-tender meetings, scope development, tender formulation, designing compensation structures, preparation of tender, bid evaluation, award process, drafting contract, awarding the contract and post award contract management.
• Contracting strategy formulation input - Open/Close tendering, committee recommendations, bid bulletins, designing commercial bid evaluations criteria, drafting and negotiating positions on terms and conditions, conducting commercial evaluation, award recommendation, committee approvals for award, awarding of the contract.
• Handling framework contracts for long term specialist manpower of OEM equipment.
• Contracts for minor EPC, EPIC, EPCM to hand over of package equipments ready for use like UPS, HVAC, fire/emergency alarm, CCTV network systems
• Negotiation on terms and conditions, labor law issues, dispute resolution with contractors.
• Assisting in pre-award activities of shutdown comprehensive maintenance contracts. Sale tenders like spent catalysts.
• Handling maintenance contracts of LNG re-gas plant and Hazira Port for facility change / up-gradation, ship navigation and jetty maintenance. Minor EPIC for marine equipment. Dealing with OEM’s for annual maintenance contracts. IT hardware, OEM specialists’ services.
• Devising tendering strategy, negotiating and seeking acceptance on terms and conditions with JV partners, tender board recommendations, formulation of commercial evaluation criteria.
• Handled the disposal sub-contracts for reducing inventory. Includes contractor identification for sale, sale invitation tenders to final delivery order and all documentation till final payment.
• Assisting in pre-award activities of civil contracts like lab building construction, civil works for de-commissioning, foundation works for vaporisers.
• Long term framework contracts for low value items based on risk spend analysis.
• Negotiation and finalization of terms and conditions, negotiating prices, handling letter of credits, advance bank guarantees etc.
• As a team member of internal audit team conducted Internal EMS (Environmental Management System ISO 14001) Audit for Administration, Catering and disposal management under HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) independently and jointly for HSE, MR and SR.
• Execution of minor EPC for CCPP by development of commodities of various steam and gas turbines like welded structures, skids, piping, castings by sub-contracting. Evaluation to reasonably assess target cost, commercial evaluations, assist proposal and tendering for advising on terms and conditions with acceptable position levels for negotiations to develop business.
• Manufacturing support for contractors by helping understand Alstom documentation, drawings and revisions management, material substitutions, meeting fabrication / manufacturing schedules, solving problems ensuring before / on time deliveries.
• Selected for 2 months deputation to Alstom, Switzerland for project minor EPC contracts. Acquired awareness of European contractor base for power sector from bidding to order finalization and expediting. Achieved on time execution of minor EPC contracts for 2 Gas Turbine systems.
Completed CPIM from APICS, USA Underway CIPS, UK Level 4 Certification Aggregate average first class during engineering, Conceived and organised Management Orientation Program.
