a) Managing the critical path, customer order books and delivery schedule
b) Directly negotiating with suppliers for better prices and better products
c) Entering product information - cost prices, selling price, markups and markdowns
d) Range building as well as maintaining an ongoing quality product
e) Creating, checking and sending purchase orders on a daily basis

g) Weekly inventory monitor, optimal inventory levels, tracking shipments for efficient replenishment and ideal inventory levels in the stores.
h) Additional business opportunities through institutional, key account exclusive packages, value and other similar channels.
i) Closely monitoring sell thru, forward / spot cover reports, budget/target achievement reports, department/class / subclass/ level sales mix, daily/weekly sales report’s.
j) Market study to keep in touch with market trends, competition pricing and new innovations.
a) Initiate feasibility analysis of product with production team.
b) Streamline all Pre production activities for smooth order flow.
c) Ordering of raw material by follow up in ERP entries.
d) Accountable for all pre production procedures, which include Fabric inspection, Shrinkage testing, Marker checking, Shade approvals, wash approvals and all pre-production procedures as per TNA.
e) Monitor daily rejection report and prepare the final reconciliation report for the respective styles, once the style is completed
f) Monitor weekly Shipment Schedule and Quality status against styles ready for shipment.
g) Work closely with the buyer station QA and offer them PO’s inspection within the delivery window date
Worked as a trainee for 2 months in Kenya in departments like Quality, Merchandising. The industry is an export house of garments with the manufacturing unit in Kenya and Headquarters in Dubai.
