Equipment: Furnace and Heaters
• Daily Inspecting of Heavy Structural Welding, Process Pipe Welding Like CS, SS & Alloy Steel Piping as per API, ASME, BS, ASTM, etc… and their requirements.
• Monitoring that site works are being undertaken in accordance with approved drawings, Data sheets, technical specifications
and inspection test plan/Quality Assurance Plan and Review of Documents Like NDT, WPS, PQR, &WPQ.
• Qualify Welder as per the material and Requirement.
• Ensure correctness of Consumables used proper Storage and Backing Done.
• Fit-up Inspection as App Drg.
• Ensure Proper Preheating and Monitor Welding parameters during welding.
• Carryout visual inspection for Welds.
• Witness NDT such as PT, MT, UT and Interpretation of RT Films.
• Review of PWHT Charts.
• Witness of Hardness Testing.
• Witness of Hydrostatic Test or Pneumatic Test as per Drawing.
• Undertaking extensive review of material test reports
• Handling daily reporting of the Prime Contractors' performance/compliance with the approved method statements and inspection test plans (ITP)
• Leading subordinates with a strategic vision and steps necessary to achieve both short term and long term departmental and company goals.
• Enforcing company policies, practices and procedures. Communicating with other employees and other departments.
• Review and edit the Specifications & scope of work for Painting & Coating.
• Inspect Consumable Material like Paint, Thinner, hardener Blasting material like Grit shot Garnet copper slag etc.
• See the material rust grade as per ISO -8301-1, find required Cleanliness
• Measure the temperature requirement and register
• Usage of Hygro meter , For Ambient temperature, humidity, and due paint
• Ambient temperature, humidity, and due paint shall be maintained as per spec ( E.g. humidity shall not be more than 85%, due to steel temperature shall be more than 3º etc. )
• Find the Blasting media contamination test by blotting paper and Ph. Chloride test
• Surface shall be free from oil, grease.
• After blasting find the Dust level, Salt test.
• Find the required Profile and Cleanliness achieved as per specification
• Witness of Field Joint Coating.
• Final ISO Clearance will be issued
• Carrying out the overall quality inspection, safety measures, testing, reinstatement and installation of pipe line, commissioning and the charging of gas.
