- Responsible for finalization of financials of retirement
funds (for 3 group companies of Engro);
- Calculation and processing of off-cycle payments (resignations, terminations, end of service benefits, etc.);
- Provide reports of working capital to Fund Manager;
- Assist Fund Manager in executing capital markets and
money market deals related to retirement funds;
- Liaison with banks and brokers to ensure smooth
settlement of deals;
- Correspondence with Actuary to ensure providing all
relevant information required for actuarial
calculations
Achievements:
Effective uploading of all retirement funds data from MS Excel to SAP.
Played instrumental role in making SAP live for retirement funds accounting
- Finalization of periodic financial reporting as per IFRS
and applicable accounting standards;
- Finalization of annual budget with 3 year forecast;
- Preparation of internal reports and power point
presentations for Board of Directors and Senior
Management to support their decision making;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws / regulations and
company's policies;
- Supervision of periodic payroll;
- Drafting of standard operating procedures (SOPs);
- Drafting of minutes of Board Audit Committee
meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and
schedules forming part of month closure and year end
audit requirement.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and adjustments,
including supporting documentation and appropriate
descriptions;
- Perform general accounts analysis and reconciliations,
including bank statements, fixed assets, employee
accruals, other accruals and prepaid expenses
- Preparation of periodic Tax returns
