- Receiving, evaluating, assessing and comparing quotations technically and financially.
- Formulating policies with suppliers by negotiating contracts and LPOs to reduce the cost on projects based on the materials and consumables requested on daily basis such as: steel, wood, electrical, masonry items, hardware, stationery & office furniture and in addition to special requirements such as: roof clay tiles, access hatches, steel doors, OTS platforms, lifts, wooden & aluminum parabolas.
- Taking decisive purchasing decisions as per site requirement, specification and schedule by following the purchasing procedures and quality objectives with the consultation and approval of G.M.
- Following up with P.M.s, C.M.s and suppliers on the delivery of material as per projects’ requirements.
- Evaluating the quantity and cost of material ordered in comparison to planned and budgeted by issuing summary reports on monthly basis.
- Following up with Accounts Dept. to expedite suppliers’ payment.
- Attending scheduled meeting with PMs and head of department to check the work pace
- Evaluating and re-evaluate the suppliers as per QMS purchasing procedures.
- Preparing and reviewing the list of approved suppliers for any kind of addition/deletion of the suppliers from the list as per the QMS requirements.

I had the responsibility of giving tours for visitors around the campus and explaining to them the history of A.U.B. In addition I was responsible over ushering the A.U.B. Commencement, concerts, and student fairs. 2) Member in the Civic Welfare League( Academic Activity ) From: October 2000 to: February 2004: We worked on having teams to work over social activities concerning A.U.B. students and employees. For example, we tried to find solutions for A.U.B. students concerning the Grade Point Accreditation System ( GPA ). We tried to have a one credit course in sports since, the facilities are not being used and the students are not concerned to use them. With respect to A.U.B. employees, we initiated a program concerned in teaching them Arabic, English, and computer skills since, they yearly get examined by the administration to get raises and promotions. 3) Member at Large in the Political Science and Public Administration Committee( Academic Activities) From: October 2000 to: February 2004 I worked on political issues concerning Lebanon and the Middle East. I organized lectures and surveys on the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Iraqi War.
