 Key Responsibilities : Involved in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and rate analysis using RIB CostX software during the pre-contract stage in accordance with the CESMM4 measurement framework. Also involved in post-contract activities including quantity surveying, client billing, subcontractor negotiations, preparation of Work Orders/LPOs, subcontractor bill certification, preparation of work programmes, and monitoring project progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Name of Project : Contract for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Marine Facilities for Third Berth (Jetty) and Specified Additional Works, at Dahej, Gujarat, LNG Terminal. (Nov’2024 to May’25)
• Project Facilities: 2.486Km Approach trestle, Unloading Platform, Breasting Dolphin & Mooring Dolphin, Jetty control building and substation works.
• Project Type: Marine Infrastructure Project along with Support Buildings
• Scope of work includes:
1. Civil Works: 582 Nos of Offshore Steel Spool Piles, Precast Pile Capping Beam/Beam/Slabs, Insitu deck slab, structural bridges, marine finishing (Screed concrete, mooring ring, fenders, bollards), control buildings.
• Project Value: INR. 1081.99 Crores (Approximately USD 127.29 Million)

 Key Responsibilities and Hands-on Experience:
a) Involved in detailed quantity surveying (QS) and BOQ preparation for both pre-contract and post-contract stages .
b) Involved in detailed cost estimation for both pre-contract and post-contract budget preparation.
c) Prepared BBU/Billing Schedule.
d) Responsible for all Quantity Surveyor-related activities, including subcontractor and external plant hire contracting—such as vendor/PRW contractor/subcontractor selection, negotiation, approval processes, preparation of techno-commercial comparative statements, and handling of PR, PO, SES, and RA bills using the SAP system.
e) Preparation of quarterly revised program and catch-up schedule using Excel and MSP software.
f) Preparation of quarterly material requirement rolling program.
g) Handling Client RA Bill in EPC & Item rate contract mode, Escalation Bill, Change of Scope, Late Payment, Covid-19 Idle claim, and all other claims.
h) Half-yearly CTC/Budget preparation/Budget Management.
i) Successfully secured a INR 32 Cr. (Approximately USD 3.76 Million) contractual claim related to a unique price adjustment issue—distinct from the regular price adjustment claim of approximately INR 14 Cr. This achievement significantly benefited the company and I earned special appreciation from the BU Head. The case was later featured as a benchmark example in the company’s internal workshops.
j) Preparation of quarterly internal working program, Catch-up schedule using Excel and MSP software.
k) Preparation of quarterly DM material requirement rolling program.
