Review of the Contractor shop drawing and materials (transmittal) for compliance with contract drawing and specifications.
Supervision of Utilities work, pilling for gantry, sign boards, Electrical Street lighting with compliance of the shop drawing.
Supervision of civil works cutting and filling of the road embankment layers, sub base. Base, asphalt base course and PMB wearing course on daily basis.
Ensuring contractors works in compliance with environment, health & safety procedures.
To check contractor’s manpower & plant to complete the project within stipulated time.
Point out snag list & ensuring that all rectification works are carried out.
To maintain the project diary & photographic record of all important issues.
Assurance of the effective QA/QC system in place for the project, strictly adhering to standards & specification.
As Senior Site Inspector responsible for site management & supervision of Roads work and Mechanical Stabilized Walls casting and erection (MSE Walls).
Supervision of wet utilities (potable water lines, irrigation line and drainage network) shutdowns, micro tunnelling, HDM work on daily basis.
Supervision of dry utilities which includes (Telecommunication network, 11kv and 132 kv), shutdown, HDD work checked on daily basis.

Responsibilities
• Supervise the work and looking the Laboratory and field tests during the construction of all material.
• Supervision of all types construction works including the Earthwork, Sub-Grade, Sub Base, Road Base, Aggregate Base Course (F.D.T as per Sand cone Method, GRADATION, PROCTOR, CBR, ETC), Bitumen Base & Wearing Course and Prime Coat, Tack Coat, Asphalt etc. checking Mix Design concrete and quality test of aggregate and slump, temperature and Cylinders and Cube test, delivery time, kind of mix and if concrete is poured within allotted time.
• checking bar bending schedule of structure i.e. reinforcement fixing, concrete pouring, and expansion joint as well as pre-pour and Post-pour.
• Approved shop drawing and applicable stand work at a site and also follow up control procedures and project specification. Making site technical queries clarification to ensure that all civil work carried out accordingly and compliance with standard drawing.
• Reporting to the Resident Engineer / Civil & Structure Engineer
• Review technical reports for rehabilitation work as per site condition and contract.
• Checked the plans; profile grades and cross sections including super elevations together with the road structure elevations in conformity with the approved working drawings.
• Review of Drawings and checking of material availability in site as per drawings
• Supervise for various construction works for Infrastructure work & civil activities Roads, sewage pipeline, storm water, Portable water, etc.
• Check, inspect, supervise the excavation of trenches.
• Checking hydrostatic pressure test for potable water, deflection test for storm water and air test & water leakage test for sewer.
• Preparing daily activities, weekly & monthly Progress reports.
• Precast yard inspections for Reinforcement and Concrete works preparing precast manhole & chamber, roads gullies etc.
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field

• Supervision of civil works cutting and filling of the road embankment layers, sub grade, Sub base on daily basis.
• Attend Progress Meeting with the Client to monitor the progress of work against the approved programmed
• Checking Bill of quantities for sub Contractors; meeting with consultant staff for quality and progress; arrangement of machinery, material, staff and lab ours as per approved program.
• Ensuring contractors works in compliance with environment, health & safety procedures.

• To prepare daily progress report and daily expanses sheet.
