NATURE OF JOB
• Inspection of site before erection.
• Organize production / plan with minimum manufacturing cost.
• Preparation of project quality systems and procedures
• To inspect the materials for material identification as per applicable code specification, purchase order copy and correlating it with MTC.
• Coordination with the client, consultant & T.P.I to maintain the quality of the project.
• To see the PWHT requirements of joints and to witness during PWHT.
• Attending weekly and monthly meetings and QA/QC feedback to the management
• To check the fit up prior stage and confirm the root gap, offset, bevel angle are within acceptance limit.
• Preparation of welding procedure specification (WPS)
• Testing of all welders for performance test (WPQT) and coordinating with Client for welder qualification.
• Visual inspection of vessels columns heat exchangers and Tanks.
• Inspections before welding, during welding and after welding.
• Planning of NDT activities and review of reports.

• Interpretation of radiography film as per API 1104 & ASME B31.3, ASME VIII
• To witness hydro test of piping spools.
• Prepared daily Inspection reports.
• Preparation of Internal punch list.
• Training & development of technicians & helpers.
• Build up of safety attitude among technicians & helpers.
• Interface with various contractors and client.
• Fully knowledge about measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer
• Dial indicator, gauges etc
• Designated as a NDT Technician/Coordinate, responsibilities include: • Review of codes, specification and acceptance criteria of various clients.
• Thickness Gauging.
• Visual Testing
• Liquid penetrate testing done all type of weld as per ASME specification.
• Liquid Penetrant testing on both ferrous and non ferrous materials by visible and fluorescent methods.
• Magnetic particle testing done all type of ferromagnetic material.
• Magnetic particle testing of piping, Castings Structural & Pressure Vessels by Yoke methods on Both visible and fluorescent methods.
• Preparation DAC of UT Method.
• Ultra Sonic Testing done all types of plates, casting, forging & weld as per ASME specification.
• Ultrasonic flaw detection of plate butt welds full penetration pipe butt welds and lamination check on pipes and plates.
• Radiography film interpretation.
• Prepared NDT reports.
