Responsible for end to end plan/forecasts cycle and reporting for the organization. (Gulf Region - UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Middle East Pension).

Financial Analysis and Reporting
Budgeting & Corporate Planning
• Handling the Global MIS, Budgeting & Corporate Planning function (covering 33 country operations (business units) & Global head office).
• Handling the revamp, development and implementation of the currently practised Annual Corporate Planning Process of the Group.
• Designing of templates for collection of information from business units and providing adequate support to business units in preparation for annual planning process
• Responsible for conduct of budget meetings involving Heads of business units, Department Heads and Function Heads
• Consolidating global business units & Department Budgets (including analysis & verification of Budget Reports) and presentation to the Executive Team consisting of Dy. CEO, CFO and CMO.
• Ensure adequate planning and approvals for headcount, initiatives, expenses, and all operational metrics
• Analyzing the impact of external and internal factors on the business and factoring the same in the planning process.
MIS & Financial Analysis
• Providing accurate daily, weekly, monthly and annual business reporting and forecasting working in partnership with business leaders. Includes consolidating, reviewing and analyzing financial and operational data.
• Comprehensive variance analysis including identification of trends, gaps, and opportunity areas within the business. Includes recommendations of possible corrective measures based on review and assessment of business results.
• Reviewing & presentation of monthly Management reporting packs for submission to the Board of Directors and Core Management Team along with analytical comments
• Preparation and review of segmented MIS reports on the major revenue and cost drivers
o Corridor wise Performance Reports
o Currency wise Revenue Reports
o Pricing analytics Reports and Recommendations
o Revenue Reports on Prepaid Cards, Remittance products and FC products
o Customer Segmentation Reports
• Developing appropriate financial models to support strategic initiatives and influence business decisions of business leaders via in-depth analysis.
• Performing what-if analysis as well as analyze the financial impact of new business opportunities and capital investments.
• Aiding in improving business performance by identifying areas of improvement where productivity, efficiency and resource utilisation can be optimised.
Financial Control and Process Improvements
• Steering efforts towards identifying & creating Cost Centres
• Core member in implementation team of “MIS Module” and also in implementations “SAP Business Objects “ and “SAP BPC”
• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting and Modelling tools.
Partnerships and Team Management
• Providing support to the Finance Team in providing details for monthly and annual closing, accruals posting and providing information to statutory bodies.
• Assisting the internal audit team by highlighting areas of concern and providing adequate data for reporting
• Co-ordination with IT Team and external vendors for development of reporting tools and enhancing user experience in existing systems
• Improving the skill set of the various teams by identifying training requirements related to Excel and other MS Office tools and providing adequate trainings.
Reporting:
• Cash flow, Profit & Loss Account, Balance sheet, Headcount, SEZ Benefits Reporting, Revenue & Headcount, Expense Reporting, ROI Reporting, Travel Reports
• Preparation of reports for Stakeholders and Management basis the analysis.
Analysis:
• Variance Analysis, Revenue & Expense Trend Analysis, Balance sheet Analysis, Headcount Analysis, Performance Analysis, Accrual Analysis
Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Pricing:
• Yearly Planning & Budgeting exercise based on Economic Pricing Model
• Preparation of rolling forecast and upload on Hyperion
• Create, maintain and continuous monitoring of Internal Budget at cost center level
• Explain the Variance Vs Forecast, Budget and Actuals
• Track actual spend against budgeted and forecasted expenses

• PEOPLESOFT, OIBEE, ESSBASE, FARO, CITRIX (Cube), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and TALLY.
• Management, reporting and coordination of training activities calendar.
• Resource planning, vendor management and vendor selection for multiple requirements.
• Generated reports and dashboards, ensured ~98% completion of compliance trainings for all employees, handled stationary management, invoice processing etc.
• Budgetary planning for Training & L&D department.
