This was the last design job I handled in Interstate Architects Office. I was re-called back from Kano to Lagos to lead a design team to CBN Ibadan and somehow along the line, the re-design of CBN Kano old building came up. Having been resident on the Extension project, I took up the design to convert the burnt building to learning centre.

I was re-called from Kano to lead the design team to Ibadan for the survey and re-design of all existing buildings on CBN Branch Office, Oba Adebimpe Rd., Ibadan. The scope of work included-survey of all buildings, report writing, re-design of all buildings, external work and also the 7th floor of the high rise building earlier gutted by fire. This was also the last design work I did in Interstate Architects, Ltd.

It was a design competition organized by NTA for some selected Architectural Firms. The competition was won by Interstate Architects. I was a member of the design team and was later resident on site during construction. Scope of work included-land reclamation, piling, acoustic treatment of studio wall & ceiling.

The project was a competition organized by CBN for three selected Architectural firms which M/S Interstate Architects won. The arrow head and design team leader was an Executive Director. We (junior Architects) ably supported the Executive Director at the project inception stage and sketch design stage suggestions and criticism of design approach until a satisfactory design was obtained.

Contract was awarded before I joined Interstate Architects. Project was taken over from Executive Director running the Project. Scope of work included Contract Administration and coverage of progress meetings at site and office. Design detail as requested by the main contractor.

My role was to assist the Executive Director in Contract Administration and re-design work. An example is re-designed of External works to reduce the scope of work.

This was the first design job I did when employed by Interstate Architects. The design was meant for new states that were not viable (i.e the states whose economies were poor) . The idea behind the design was to allow for expansion without disturbance to banking activities during construction.
