ASTAD Project Management is a Joint Venture between Qatar Petroleum and Qatar Foundation set with a vision to “To provide superior project management services across the region for complex and challenging infrastructure and building projects”

Reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, I joined ASTAD and played a key role in managing the setup of the HR Department while looking after the transition of the Recruitment and Manpower department from Qatar Petroleum to be fully independently operated by ASTAD.

While managing the day to day recruitment and manpower planning activities, I contributed to the HR Management team in setting up the HR Function, I did more of a generalist role participating to the review of policies and procedures, advising employees on new compensation and benefits packages, managed the transition of all employees from QP to ASTAD, Established the employee induction process, looked after employee relations and managed the implementation of the Oracle HRIS.

- Managing relationships with third party providers of training as well as government authorities
- Managing Commercial bank's Qatarisation Program and all initiatives related to the same
- Managing Commercial bank's management trainee program
- Conducting job evaluations, job analysis and developing Job Descriptions and Job Specifications
- Conducting one on one Staff counseling, coaching, mentoring and career advising
