Throughout my role as a student representative for managing the inaugural Alumni event hosted by MIT-WPU, I undertook a diverse array of responsibilities that spanned the events entire lifecycle, resulting in notable achievements that left a lasting impact.
Conceptualization and Planning: I played a pivotal role in conceptualizing the events theme, objectives, and overall vision. This involved extensive brainstorming sessions, research, and collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with MIT-WPUs values and goals.
Collaboration and Coordination: As a bridge between different departments, I facilitated effective communication and collaboration. I organized regular meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders were on the same page regarding event logistics, content creation, and promotional efforts.
Promotion and Outreach: I leveraged my communication skills to spearhead promotional campaigns, both within the MIT-WPU community and externally. Through strategic use of social media, email marketing, and traditional channels, I successfully generated buzz and maximized event attendance.
On-Site Event Management: On the day of the event, I ensured flawless execution by overseeing various operational aspects, including registration, technical support, and guest assistance. I adeptly handled unexpected challenges, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.
Effective Team Leadership: As a student representative, I led a diverse team of individuals with varying expertise and backgrounds. My leadership style encouraged collaboration, and I motivated team members to contribute their best, resulting in a cohesive and efficient event planning process.
Recognition and Nomination: My dedication and exceptional contributions did not go unnoticed. The pinnacle of my achievements was being selected as the sole nominee for the Event Manager of the Year award, a prestigious acknowledgment of my impactful role in orchestrating the Alumni event.
• Event Planning and Coordination: Orchestrating the alumni event demonstrates your ability to plan, organise, and execute successful events.
• Dialogue and Stakeholder Collaboration: Spearheading alumni engagement eforts involves communicating with various stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, and other members.
• Recruitment and selection: This involves sourcing candidates, posting advertisements, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and ultimately selecting the most suitable candidates for open positions. Efective recruitment ensuring the institution had the right talent to meet its objectives.
• comm Relations and HR Policy Implementation: This responsibility involves developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices that enhance personnel relations and contribute to a positive work environment. It also includes managing worker grievances, counseling teams and supervisors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Work Structure Maintenance and Onboarding: This responsibility entails updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions to ensure they accurately reflect the needs of the company. Additionally, it involves onboarding new staf through induction and orientation processes to facilitate their integration into the company culture and workflow.

and information, validating tickets, assist spectators to find their seats, operate the information
points, lost & found, mobility assistance and many more SPS is the largest team in the stadiums.
