Worked in MOHD OMAR AL MAJID GROUP, DUBAI as Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant. The group is engaged in diversified activities like trading, servicing and manufacturing of automobile related parts.
I started my career as Accountant looking after the manufacturing and service section with additional responsibility of costing. I was promoted as Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant for all sections of the group. My responsibilities include all accounts related activities, presentation of all kind of Management Reports, Costing & Pricing of all imported & other inventories, finalizing and consolidation of all sections account for auditing, supervision of section accountants work, liaison with bank, handling L/c, inventory control etc.
Worked as Senior Accountant in BIP & MEADCO CONTRACTING, BAHRAIN. This establishment is engaged in landscaping activities and building construction works. Even though I was assigned all kind of accounts related activities by rotation, my main responsibilities were costing of purchases ( mainly imported goods) receivables, bank dealings, stock control and payroll etc.
Worked as Accountant in charitable institution CHRISTHU NILAYAM, Trivandrum, kerala, India. It is charitable institution helping the needy people and funded by local volunteers and overseas organization. My responsibilities were to prepare all accounts starting from ledger, voucher, trial balance etc. Preparing project accounts, cash flow, bank reconciliation are also handled by me.
Same period I worked as part time accountant in departmental store GRAND BAZAR
where I handled only reports preparation like trial balance, profit and loss account, balance sheet and furnishing various returns to government agencies like sales dept etc.
Worked as Articled & audit clerk in a Chartered Accountant Firm VINCENT & CO.
Here I experienced all kind of accounts and audit work as a part of my CA course. As various kind of establishments were the clients of the firm, I got opportunity to learn practically various accounting, costing and auditing systems. Computerized and manual accounting system were taught and experienced.
