The Strategic Purchasing Section is responsible for ordering the Chemical and Packaging with creating of Long agreements for each item’s to meet the needs of the business. Based on the best purchasing practices.
The chemical and packaging unit responsible of ordering the following commodities: Feed Stocks,
Additives, Catalysts, Solvents, Water & Process Treatments, Lab Chemicals, Lubricants & Greases, Industrial Gases, Basic Chemicals, Paints & Adhesives and Packaging & Products.
Work Responsibilities include:
-Verifies nomenclature and specifications of the requested material as mention in the Purchase Requisition.
-Ensures that all purchase requisitions are available with proper documentation, authorized and cost codes available
-Selects potential supplier from approved list
-Perform processing of RFQ s, POs, RFP’s and Bid evaluation, release orders.
-Select the recommended sources according to the Received quotations analysis. (Price, quality, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history).
-Negotiate the Quotations with internal & international suppliers and vendors.
-Perform and manage supplier cost estimations according to the Strategic Cost Analysis.
-Identify saving opportunities in the strategic activities.
-Analyzes spend data/trends to identify and develop overall strategic sourcing initiatives
-Perform agreement based on the Commodity Positioning at the Portfolio Analysis
-Monitor overall strategic & spot buying activities and purchasing agreements to provide Corrective solution assistance where appropriate.
-Establishes and maintains professional relationships with suppliers to facilitate best purchasing

E-Learning Project Team Leader at Petro Rabigh

-PR Approval procedures and coordinate with HR service center to prepare the employee development compensation.
-Coordinate with training Coordinators and admin. Clerks to verify any due payment or finalize any settlement if required.

4. IN-HOUSE MANAGEMENT TRAINING:
-Create the training event in the SAP system.
-Send Emails to all training coordinators for Enrolments
-Evaluate the nominations if they meet the event criteria.
-Send the final confirmation to all selected attendee list.
-Arrange all the training logistics ( trainer ID, accommodation, training locations, refreshment & lunch, group photo, attendance sheets, lunch sheet, event Feedback form )
- Follow-up the In-House Training Check List.

5. DEGREE RECOGNITION:
-Evaluate the approved request form with the support documents ( PRC & university ID)
-Proceed the approval procedures and coordinator with HR service center to prepare the final “No-Objection Letter”.
-Filling all employee applications for future evaluation and recommendations.
