• Implement the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedures and ITPs in coordination with Site QA/QC Manager. Expedite the review and approval of these documents with Client.
• To ensure that all approved and Inspected materials are used.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance.
• Review corrective actions recommended in non-conformance reports, initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence of non-conformity.
• Initiate, record or provide solutions for quality problems.
• Ensure site personnel follow the Quality Assurance system and assist in training of site personnel in the QA/QC system.
• Development of inspection and test plans (ITP’s), checklists and reporting formats. Maintaining them during the course of the project. Ensure that all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.
• Ensure that all Inspection Requests are submitted as required and liaise with Client staff regarding timings of such inspections.
• Co-ordinate with the Site / Independent Testing Laboratory / Third Party Inspection and project Construction in conducting tests and to document and submit them for Client’s approval.
• Liaise with Client staff regarding any non-compliance's, complaints or areas of concern to ensure that these are handled in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
•Review and Approval of Shop Drawings, Material Submittals for all Mechanical Trades, as per Applicable Standards and Specifications.
•Coordination of all activities at site and resolving day to day technical issues at site with Site supervisors.
•Monitor the sequence of work and ensure safe/ proper planning for movement of plant, machinery and equipment for optimum utilization.
•Supervision of installations of all HVAC activities as per Standards.(AHU, FCU, Chillers, Chiller pumps, Cooling towers, Chilled water piping, Duct works, Dampers Grills, Diffusers, Registers etc).
•Installations of Plumbing System(Water supply).
Water Supply - Installation of Piping for Cold water & Hot water system, Water Heaters, Filtration System, GRP Water Tanks etc.
•Installation of Firefighting System as per NFPA (Sprinkler, fire pumps, fire hose cabinet, Piping and valves)
•Coordinating with other engineering disciplines in all aspects during the development of works to ensure that all Mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per Approved IFC drawings, specifications.
•Air Balancing of FCU’s/AHU’s/FAHU’s.
•Attending all Site Progress reviews and Walkthrough meetings and reporting the Managers.
•Participating / Preparing the weekly and monthly Progress reports.
•Checking the weekly and monthly progress, reporting the project manager and to the project management team. Making ensure that construction follows the good practices to avoid re-works.
•Co-ordination with different discipline for easy moving of site activities
•Project Planning (making BOQ and raising material requisition for on time procurement).
