Running the production facility to agreed budgets with a view to maximize productivity
Developing and executing the yearly manufacturing plan to deliver the business objectives of the company including production volume, manufacturing controlled cost, quality, and safety aspects.
Ensuring the alignment of the manufacturing organization with the company vision, purpose and priorities.
Manage the key performance areas of subordinates.
Ensuring all aspects of Health and safety and fire prevention systems are adhered to as per the ISO and HSE standards.
Developing the company’s strategic manufacturing plans, capacity and improvement strategies.
Administering personnel policies and procedures with regard to manpower plan, job descriptions, performance plans, performance evaluation, and training and development of all production staffs.+
Ensuring optimum utilization of resources to execute the company’s manufacturing pans, objectives and programs in a manner which will result in timely manufacturing and delivering targeted volumes of high quality products at lowest possible cost and while maintaining work place quality and staff high morale.
Ensuring that all products are manufactured to approved product specification and promotes company- wide quality improvement efforts.
Monitoring operational expenses, material usage and losses and overall unit cost to ensure efficient resource utilization and initiate corrective actions as required.
Managing the inventory levels in the factory and ensure inventory accuracy.
Coordinating, set-up and implements standard operating procedures for all production.
Preparing of daily, monthly and quarterly reports detailing operational activities.
Ensuring the integrity and quality of manufacturing data on the ERP system

Conduct research on boiler and power generation plant and milling plant

Plan, lead and control operation and maintenance of milling plant and boiler and power generation unit
