• Work with counselling staff to create and implement the laboratory program.
• Assist counselling staff with all facets of the laboratory program.
• Assist counselling staff with special needs and assist in solving special problems.
• Evaluate in writing, the program, making suggestions and recommendations for the future.
• Responsible of the circuit breaker laboratory (according to IEC 60898).
• Preparation of electrical procedures for testing.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality control documents in the laboratory according to ISO 17025.
• Develop a quality system based on ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards, to foster continuous process improvement, problem prevention and detection.
• Develop, implement and improve core quality processes to ensure that processes meet requirements including: corrective action, preventive action, non-conformity process, documents control.
• Keep quality documents up to date and ensure that all the tests are carried out on time.
• Use statistical methods to monitor quality performance and isolate major problems for immediate solution, as applicable.
• Perform the uncertainty of measurements calculation for all the equipments and tests according to GUM, EA-A4/16, EA-4/02 and NIST.
• Ensure that the electrical testing are complied with the requirements of the international electrotechnical commission IEC.
• Write reports and give presentations to managers and clients.
• Prepare reports and certificates.
• Produce test plans in support of integration and system verification.
• Recommend and study new standards in Electrical application.
• Implement modification and develop of new methods.

• Calibrate different types of measuring instruments according to different parameters:
Mass : scales, weights, comparators, … Dimension : calipper, micrometters, gauge blocks…., Temperature : thermometers, data loggers, oven, refrigerators, autoclaves, incbators…., Electrical : power supplies, multimeters, clampmeters, oscilloscopes….., Force : compression machines, load cells, torque meters, …….Pressure : pressure gauge, dead weight tester, …., Other: tachometers, light meters, Hygrometers, timers, …
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates.
• Check and calibrate instruments to make sure they are accurate.
• Recommend standards in calibration application according to OIML.
• Develop documents and maitain calibration systems and procedures.
• Provide technical advice to other departments of the company.
• Arrange customer visits for technical consulting and for calibration purposes.
