• Protect company assets and improves profitability by developing and implementing security and safety programs for employees and customers.
Conduct inspection of each and every location and ensure all the Security Officers are following the Loss prevention policies procedures properly to minimizing the financial losses of a retail operation related to theft, vandalism, accident and injury.
Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with store and law enforcement personnel and focus on cash handling theft, inventory control, facilities and equipment damage, security access violations, fraud, and a variety of audits of employee activities.
Effectively implementing and managing loss prevention processes and programs for preventing the growing problem of employee and internal theft.
Assist the Security Supervisors and Security Officers with the shoplifting offences and the completion of the documentation and ensure that they are following the proper procedures in each shoplifting cases to ensure the correct value is recovered from the shoplifting case.
Conduct spot check in the receiving and ensure that the Blind Receiving procedures are following properly to reduce the shrinkage.
FOC & Free items, Gate Pass procedures are following properly in the receiving to ensure the company assets IN & OUT is recorded properly .
Ensure that spot checks are conducting in the receiving by supervisors to reduce the shrinkage and vendor fraud.
Ensure that the Hot Work permit procedures are following properly by the Maintenance team and contracting companies to ensure the safety of the staff, customers and company asset.
Conduct spot check in the sensitive cage area and ensure that the proper access control and sensitive items procedures for the sensitive cages are following by the Staff and Security Officer.
Fire equipment are checked properly to ensure the safety of the staff and customers.
Conduct regular training for Managers, Staff, Merchandisers and Promoters for Induction, Fire & Safety, Shrinkage, Bomb Alert and Strapping & Tagging.
Conduct monthly briefing for Security Supervisors to ensure Loss prevention policies procedures properly to minimizing the financial losses of a retail operation related to theft, vandalism, accident and injury.
Conduct Monthly Fire Drill in the store to make sure all the emergency team members are responding properly and following the proper procedures.
Assist the District Loss prevention / Security Manager for the Quarterly Security Audit to analyze the follow up of Safety & Security measures, Protection of Sensitive items, follow up of Shrinkage policies and asset control policies & procedures.
Assist Head Office team during the Asset visit and prepare the minutes and communicate with Head Office and circulates the findings with each department involved.
Assist Internal Auditors during the audit and follow up the points.
Conduct Loss & Waste committee meeting along with all Commercial Department Heads, Finance Manager, Receiving Manager, BC Manager, CCO Manager, District Finance Manager, District Safety & Security / Loss Prevention Manager and GM after each inventory to analyze the reason for the shrinkage & waste and prepare action plan to prevent shrinkage and communicate the minutes of the meeting and action plan with Store Level and Head Office and implement the action plan to prevent and minimizing the financial losses due to shrinkage and waste.
