• Performing Audits at regular intervals to ensure that audited activities follow quality standards and quality program requirements.
• Preparing and handing over of final dossier to client in accordance with the quality dossier index.
• Preparing of Project Quality Plan, Material Submittals, Method Statements and ITP’s based on the project scope of work, QCS and all other relevant Project specific procedures for all activities and taking approvals from client.
• Conducting training to the site engineers and workers to meet the quality requirements of the work.
• Conducting weekly quality review meetings between construction team and consultant.
• Preparing of weekly and monthly QA/QC report.
• Preparing and Keeping track of the quality performance KPI and alert the project management on gaps and related corrections.
• Supervising QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors on the activities assigned at a regular basis.
• Conducting pre and post inspections checks and tests where ever required for each activity and assuring that the works are done according to the approved shop drawings, method statement and also meeting the Qatar Construction Standards and Requirements.
• Preparing and keeping track of IR’s issued and it’s closing out.
• Review, verify and endorse contractor Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plan, and other project Quality Documents.
• Inspecting and Monitoring of quality of contractor’s products and services.
• Checking and testing the materials received as per QCS and AASHTO standards at specified frequency.
• Reviewing of TPI’s and Laboratory test reports, certificates in compliance with QCS and Project Specification.
• Verification of validity of calibration for Monitoring and Measuring Devices used in the project.
• Dealing with technical team and site team for the drawing and design issues raised in the site. Determine and select opportunities for improvement and implement any necessary actions to meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System are established, implemented and maintained.
• Take the lead role in Identification, issuance SOR and NCR for the work which is not meeting the quality requirements, monitoring resolutions (corrective and corrective actions) & closure.
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions raised under NCR’s are implemented to address the root cause (as applicable) and to prevent recurrence.
• Maintaining and looking over the batching plant operations and conducting trial mixes for new mix designs.

• Carrying out the Inspections as per the received daily Work Inspection Request log by coordinating with the site team and the consultants for the approval of the work done.
• Ensures that executed works follow the approved drawings, design specification and quality requirements of the project.
• Closing of NCR’s from consultant by providing corrective action plan & rectification method statements.
• Dealing with consultant for the drawing related queries and for onsite difficulties faced during the execution of the work.
• Checking and verifying materials used in the site are approved before used in the site on Work.
• Concrete check during concreting at site (Mix Proportion, Slump, Temperature, Batching time & Approved Supplier).
• Ensure Monitoring and Measuring Devices used in the project are verified for validity of calibration.

As a trainee site engineer in YOGI Builders on their MERINAA project site, Padur, Chennai for a period of 6 Months.

• Plans and executes the work to meet the approved specification and targeted progress.
• Complies with safety regulations as required by the project.
• Execution of high-rise buildings from the basement level footings to complete stage of the building according to drawings and designs specifications.
• Checking form work and reinforcement and all embedded works.
• Monitoring & coordinating with site foreman for the proper execution of project & assisting in the Quality and Safety of the site.
• Preparing the BOQ for various types of works.
• Updating Daily Labour Report and Daily Progress Report on daily basis.
• Ensures that suitable materials, personnel, plant and equipment etc. are available on site on time for execution of the work.
• Co-ordination with Technical Office for any change in designs/drawings or any revision with QA/QC department.
