Supervisor to 4 Audit Assistants, supporting 3 business units, tasked to perform risk-based financial, compliance and operational audits, liaise with internal clients during planning, execution and closures of audits, preparing final Executive Summaries for Group Board and Finance Heads
As the head of finance at Gulf Research Center I oversee various financial management functions, including audit, credit, cash management and budgets within the company, helps staff develop financial and economic policy procedures, delegates authority, and oversees implementation of company policies.
During my association with Ernst & Young I have been assigned to External Audits, Certification, Accountancy and other Consulting Assignments. As an Assistant Manager I was responsible for coordinating and overseeing the progress of several financial statement audits conducted using a risk-based approach. Additionally I was also reponible for ensuring the audit work performed is in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, training and coaching of audit staff to further staff's advancement, providing input in performance evaluations of staff and monitor audit work to ensure timely completion and to minimize cost overruns.
