• Interface and coordinate work activities between quality and other disciplines.

Review welding consumables and electrodes for WPS according to ASME Section II Part C
Mechanical installation of HRSG’s (Module to Module welding, Inlet duct, Outlet duct), HP, LP, IP Drum condensate Tank, transition duct and steel structure.
Installation of pumps, soot blowers, STG’s, generators, ACC’s & its alignment.
Check, verify and review installation of gaskets supports, check valves internals flow orifice strainers instruments and control valves prior to line re-instalment as per the latest drawings for construction.
Line Check Inspection
Accomplishments:
Successfully completed; Large and small bore piping erection for 8 HRSG units \[ Fit-ups & weld visual for approx.1500 joints\], HRSG Outlet duct/ Diffuser and support structure erection for 32 units, Diverter system erection and Installation for 10 units, Installation and verification of piping, stack and HRSG modules.
Discipline Mechanical engineer for punch list and close out of warranty claims with multifaceted responsibilities including but not limited to;
Monitor and Inspect sub-contractors scope of mechanical activities for the closure of punch list items
Assist construction in Itemization of punch points for closure according to description of work and manpower requirements, in addition to the preparation of punch point basket for major remaining works
Conduct inspection with client/ consultant for the closure of punch points & remaining works in lieu of schedule and deadline
Report periodically to Senior Discipline Engineer on Quality& Punch list issues and keep site management informed of any problems
Respond to Technical Queries from Site for Installation & Commissioning and after Start-up & Handover
• Inspect the activities as per Approved QIPs & project specification.
• Generation of punch list.
• To check the fit up and welding as per process piping B-31.3
• Inspect the all erection of structure, pressure vessel, heat exchanger, boiler, columns, and pipe racks.
Erection & Fit-Up inspection of piping and fitting as per approved drawing (CS, SS & Alloys).
Visual Inspection of Welding piping joints (CS, SS & Alloys).
Inspection of underground & above ground RTR & FRP/GRP piping.
Review and witness of MTC, materials and calibration certificates.
Worked in Quality department during the project run and was responsible for NDT (MPI, DPT, UT Thickness Measurement, and Hardness Testing & Hydro Testing), Sand blasting & Painting & Insulation.
