Roles & Responsibilities
•Supervising sub-contractors safety officers and ensuring of strict adherence to safety procedures.
•Responsible for the coordinating of permit to work, including both hot and cold work permit.
•Responsible for the monitoring of confined space entry procedure to include gas test and emergency preparedness.
•Responsible for monitoring of work at height procedure to include scaffolding usage and procedure.
•Monitor and maintain environmental aspect and impact record to advice the management.
•Supervising and ensuring that tool box talks are held.
•Ensuring the weekly and monthly safety meetings is held, and following up to ensure the implementation of decisions made.
•Interfacing with managements on issues regarding safety.
•Consulting with employees on issues affecting their health and safety.
•Advising the manager on health, safety and environmental concerns.
•Conducting safety induction to new workers and safety refresher courses to existing ones.
•Auditing of Permit to Work (PTW), JSA and maintaining safety documentations.
•Ensuring the HSE management system, Risk Assessment, Method Statement for the project is strictly followed.

•Recognizing analysis hazard to employee and teach how to avoid them
•Daily inspection and daily report writing on any issues/ observation/ accident.
•Ensuring effective housekeeping. (Housekeeping is safe keeping)
•Checking the certificate of mobile crane validity, load capacity, lifting gears and take other necessary safety measures before it’s commences work.
•Checking all scaffolds to ensure that they are conform to safety rules which guides the use of scaffold.
•Inspection of all electrical equipment, machines and tools before use.
•Arranging for provision of PPE based on the risk assessment.
•Ensure conformance with the company HSE policy and procedures.
•Investigate occurrences of all incident and near misses in all plants.
•Ensuring that any raw materials used conform to statutory health and safe requirements.
