• Supervise work execution on site, develop procedures and instruction for either maintenance, shutdown or project to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work.
• Preparation Material requisitions
• Represents instrumentation departments in meetings with Supplier, vendors, subcontractors, licensors, manufacturer and other company disciplines .
• Issue document markups ( P &IDs, Cause & effect tables, I/O lists, …etc) for engineering modifications done during any modification in Refinery units .
• Review / Checking of Instrumentation Engineering documents I/O lists, Control system Architecture, P&IDs, Cause and Effect Tables, interlocks, ESD systems, Alarm and Trip Schedules, Control system Narratives, Loop Schematics, UPS and Non-UPS Load Lists, Wiring diagrams, SIL study, Instrument Hook-Up drawings and instrument devices specification Which was submitted by Vendors / Manufacturers .
• Preparing instrument requirement documents for the designer, fabricator, and installer.
• Performing instrument detailed design.
• Identifying inconsistencies and problems that may be present on equipment specifications or P&IDs during the design phase.
• Analyzing and recommending solutions for technical problems in the instrument-and-control area.
• Modify and review P&IDs .
• Proficient to the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry i.e. API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
• Preparing Cable Calculations, type and specification .
• Installation, maintenance and start-up of diesel generator 100KVA.
• Installation, maintenance and start-up of gas detection system (LPG, H2S) - Honeywell, ESP safety and crowcon and its relayed emergency shutdown and firefighting systems.
• Installation, maintain and start-up of fire detection system and its relayed emergency shutdown and firefighting systems.
