South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (MAR 2014 - JULY 2014)
Role: Build an Unemployment benefit pre-file payment system and integrate existing solution with an IPhone App.
Key accomplishments:
•Releases the IPhone App in under 2 months.( http://www.wfxg.com/story/25322145/sc-unemployed-can-file-claims-for-benefits-via-app)
•Incorporated the new system with existing filing and payments system as well as with SCBOS and other state and federal systems.
Responsible for Discover Home Loan CTI desktop and softphone applications and call center operations tools and services, calls routing, and data/stat collections from Genesys CTI suite (versions 7.6 and 8.1 of Genesys).
Managed InfoImage enhancements projects using on-shore and off-shore development model. Also, managed number of successful releases and large custom implementations and deployments of InfoImage.
Managed the development of requirements and facilitated the analysis of business concepts, problems, solution alternatives, and defined and presented recommendations using automated systems and processes pertaining to RFID and handheld scanners used in client’s warehouses. Also, led the development team in producing world class warehouse management software using Microsoft technologies and languages.
Managed the design, development, and implementation of an automation solution pertaining to commercial asset management, case tracking, and case management. Also, performed lead development role in the organization and implementation of software and hardware solutions to move IVR/VRU volumes from a legacy VRU/IVR to a new “Windows Based” platform.
This was a part time engagement with Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) that was extended for almost five years because of the large turnout for my sections. I was the instructor for the following courses: C programming (course number: CSC 133), C++ programming (course number: CSC 134), and Advance Visual Basic programming (course number: CSC 239).
Accomplishments included:
* Had large number of students wanting to join my sections because of the great rapport I had with students and my knowledge of the subject matter I was teaching, also, my delivery skills.
As a lead escalation officer in the Windows NT debugging team (blue screens), my responsibilities included debugging and identifying operating system problems.
Accomplishments included:
* Identifying issues with core kernel code through reviewing developer’s code.
* Development and support for FoxPro 2.6 for SCO XENIX.
* Supported all MICROSOFT operating systems and hardware.
Concluded my studies in 1997. Did not complete the program.
