Responsibilities -
• Responsible for carrying out configuration of GPRS network as per the customers’ requirements.
• Configuration Change Planning: Plan implementation of all the changes in Packet network. Impact of same on network need to be analyzed while performing changes on SGSN, DNS, GGSN, SACC solution, SAPC, AAA.
• Change implementation: Carry out changes after preparing MOP for planned activity according to severity on SGSN, GGSN, DNS, SAPC, AAA.
• Pre/Post change checks: to ensure that the configuration activity has been carried out properly without any impact on GPRS services or any other network Pre/post activity checks and testing will have to be done.
• Problem solving: pro-actively analyze problems and determine solutions based on the facts.
• Ensure the change requests are handled so as to meet SLAs well within the time limits.
• Interface with the other organizational entities like D&P, NPI, FM, GNOC - FO, GNOC - BO etc.
• Perform under time constrains depending upon the business requirements.
• Good understanding of 2G, 3G & EPC.

Major Project Involvement -
• Actively involved in the 3GDT implementation/testing.
• TMA/EBM configuration in SGSN /EPG.
• Actively involved for new diameter peer implementation.
• Software update of EPG/SGSN/IPWORKS.
Responsibilities
• Worked on Packet Switched Network Elements (SGSN, GGSN, PCRF, CMD, TRAFFICA, TRENDICA, DNS-Server).
• Performing Operation & Maintenance of Nokia DX-200 & ATCA Platform.
• Alarm Analysis, Escalation, Troubleshooting & Preventing Fault.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) analysis of all Core Network Elements for Nokia.
• Re homing, Configuration and maintenance of BSC with SGSN.
• Re homing, Configuration and maintenance of RNC with SGSN.
• Responsible for all Configurations changes in SGSN (LAC creation, Diagnosis/Troubleshooting of Units, License management, PLMN Creation, IMSI-GT configuration, etc ).
• Responsible for all Configurations changes in DNS.(APN Entries, Lac-Rac Entries, Roaming Entries )
• APN Creation & Modification in GGSN.
• Migration/Addition/Modification of IP pools.
• Flow Configuration/Modification & Whitelisting of Flows .
• Modifications of Charging Gateways at SGSN & GGSN end.
• Responsible for Configurations changes in GGSN.
• Troubleshooting the issues related to CMD(Ga Interface) Node .
• Traffic observation and connectivity of GI interface and ICR links.
• Liaises with Customer Care organizations regarding Network outages.
• Liaises with subcontractors and 3rd parties to resolve faults.
• Liaises with other service providers regarding network outages.
• Provide end-to-end support, coordination and control of assigned Trouble Tickets.
• Raising Trouble Tickets for any fault in the network and maintaining Daily Fault Report, Analysis and clearance of faults and in highly critical issues referring them to care team.
• Every Day analysis of Throughput/Traffic trend & performance report and optimization and resolution of any discrepancy, which affecting KPI.
• Daily fallback and backup of SGSN, GGSN, DNS.
• Daily health check of all Packet Core Nodes.
• Resolve TROUBLE TICKET for fault in the network.
