As a SOC Analyst for MERS, I delivered continuous 24×7 cyber threat
monitoring and incident response across Maharashtras state‑wide
emergency infrastructure. Using SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection,
endpoint log analytics, and forensic tools, I actively monitored MDT
devices, control-room networks, and applications deployed across the
state.
On detecting anomalies or intrusion attempts, I led fast-paced
investigations—performing root‑cause analysis, threat intelligence
correlation, and executing containment and remediation. Alerts were
escalated to CERT‑MH under rigorous governance aligned with
Maharashtra Police and MahaCyber compliance protocols.
To fortify defenses, I conducted vulnerability assessments and
penetration testing on MDT endpoints and police infrastructure. I
collaborated with application and infrastructure teams to implement
hardening measures, patches, secure configurations, and
infrastructure improvements.
With project infrastructure hosted on Maharashtras cloud-based data
center, I also ensured secure cloud configurations, proper access
controls, and compliance with state-level public cloud policies
managed by MahaIT—upholding data integrity and confidentiality in
cloud environments.
Throughout the engagement, I safeguarded highly sensitive citizen
and emergency-responder data, produced actionable security metrics
and executive insights, and thereby significantly enhanced the cyber
resilience of the MERS ecosystem.

Focused on network security and threat analysis using tools like
Wireshark and Nessus, participating in cyberattack simulations and
enhancing system defenses through advanced encryption techniques.
A key project involved using Kali Linux for a successful vulnerability
assessment.

Working on skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design,
tackling projects from UI enhancements to integrating APIs, while
mastering efficient coding practices and debugging techniques in a
dynamic team environment
