A Joint Venture between NEOM, Acwa Power & Air Products (together NGHC) created to
develop NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP) in Saudi Arabia, an extra-large Project worth
$8.4 billion divided into three Elements, which at its completion will be the worlds largest utility
scale, commercially-based hydrogen facility powered entirely by renewable energy and producing
600 tons per day of clean hydrogen and up to 1.2 million tons per year of green ammonia.
Part of the Joint Venture, Acwa Power employees are to work as secondees in Air Products EPC
on the Power Generation Element to build and commission a PV Solar Plant of 2.2 GW capacity +
Battery Storage, a Wind Farm of 1.6 GW and the Transmission Lines to Grid Substations (together
PWE).
My mission, as PWE Element Sr. HSE Manager reporting to the Program Director and
coordinating with different Project Managers and HSE Central Team, is to plan, develop,
implement, and monitor the overall Health, Safety and Environment Management System to ensure
the compliance with IFC standards, Air Products global procedures, Acwa Power policies, Client
& Lenders requirements, and local regulation. Further to manage the EHS and social compliance
of the 3 sites and 2 Camps with total of 5000+ employees, and to drive Project teams leadership in
maximizing the performance, optimizing environmental and social impacts, succeeding
Stakeholders engagement and promoting the Safety Culture.

NE1 is a Project Company DEWA Silk to develop the 4th
phase of Mohamed Bin Rashid Solar Park in United Arab Emirates, which is the largest
Concentrated Solar (CSP) Plant in the world with 700MW +250MW Photovoltaics. The
plant also contains 4 auxiliary Photovoltaics for internal consumption.
My mission was to review, approve and ensure implementation of the Project HSSE Management
Plan and its related procedures, in accordance with applicable laws and standards, and respect of the
contractual clauses. Monitor the preparedness of emergency responses. Perform HSSE Specific
Site Inspections and Assessments on EPC Contractor and Subcontractors. Drive toward safe
conduct of critical activities (E.g Heavy & Complex Lifting, Confined Spaces, Chemical Handling,
Work at heights, Energized Equipment …). Support and lead the HSSE team to develop their
skills, stay motivated and maximize their performance. Coordinate with Construction and
Commissioning Managers and contribute in the review of method statements and work plans.
Manage the Safety and Environmental aspect of commissioning works…

The company was developing Noor Ouarzazat Solar Complex in Morocco, which is the largest
Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) single Plant in the world with 500 MW capacity.
My mission was to supervise the site and ensure all HSSE concerns are identified and controlled by
the EPC. Monitor the performance and implementation of HSE Plan and related Procedures. Lead
the HSSE team and ensure site coverage. Assist the HSSE Manager. Drive the EPC and
Subcontractors site teams to make the site a safer and healthier workplace and promote safety
culture…

The company was handling Metallic Construction and Piping contract of Afriquia GAZ - Tanger
Med Project in Morocco for Client TISSOT/Afriquia. The project is about construction of six
Butane/Propane tanks under embankment.
My mission was to represent the HSE Policy and supervise it, implement HSE Action Plan.
Decrease the number of incidents/ accidents and their impact. Support and supervise HSE Officers,
take charge of emergency response. Ensure proper communication with client and close out of
raised issues…

The company was handling EPCM of Bni Amir Project (ex-El Halassa Project) and
DAOUI/MEA Adaptation Project in Morocco for Client JESA/OCP. The 1st represents the largest
wash plant of phosphates in the world. The 2nd is an adaptation of two existing wash plants in
MEA and DAOUI.
My mission was to establish documents control procedures and ensure recording & transfer.

On El Halassa Project, My mission was to support HSEC Manager, provide assistance to HSEC
team and subcontractors. Manage the administrative work and analyze available records and data

The company was handling EPC of the Slurry Phosphate Pipeline Project in Morocco for the
client OCP/JESA, which represents the mean of transport of washed phosphates form wash plants to
El Jorf LASFAR for treatment, with more than 180 Km of pipelines and four stations including
Head Station and Terminal Station.
My mission was to prepare risk assessments and provide adequate control measures. Ensure HSE
