Responsible for smooth operation of Cargo.
Involve in Maintenance of different equipment like conveyor belts, gear boxes.
To perform scheduled maintenance activities as per set standards
Diagnose and repair faults/defects effectively on equipment/vehicles and plant under breakdown ensuring that down time is minimized.
Assist Shift leaders in checking all equipment daily for operational reliability & safety, to help plan for corrective maintenance and to prevent accidents in the work area.
Ensure that standard safety procedures are followed during maintenance activities to prevent any personal injury or equipment damage.
Ensure that all work-related activities carried out during the shift are recorded in the log book/work order to help planning staff log the details of work done in the Maintenance Management System.
Guide and train the Junior Maintenance Technician as required on the maintenance aspects of all equipment/vehicles and plants.
Ensure good housekeeping in the workshop & other work areas and take proper care of tools.
• Responsible for maintenance & trouble shooting of Woodman Bag Maker (Gemini II) packaging machines.
• During annual maintenance or breakdowns, responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of process and Packaging Machine.
• Maintain the technical store spare parts inventory of Packaging and Taping machines for preventive maintenance.
• Co-ordinate with third party for repair of different parts of machines.
• Fabricate different parts of machines locally for cost saving factor.
• Responsible of smooth feeding of Nitrogen in product.
• Replacement of all wears parts of the equipments.
• Greasing and lubrication of all equipments.
• Coordination with production team for smooth operation/maintenance Packaging lines.
• Member of First Aider and SAT(Safety Action Team)
• Perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance for machines and equipment’s.
• Working on oracle to raise the demand of new parts from OEM & local suppliers to supply chain (Purchase) section.
• Involve in 5 S activities of the department.
Department Plant Operations & Mechanical Maintenance
Trouble Shooting, Preventive Maintenance & Operations of Paper Recycle Plant that includes following equipment’s
1. High Pressure Screens of plants of various capacities.
2. Centrifugal Pumps for Different Media’s.
3. Plant Transportation fork lifters.
4. Quality of the paper feed& final product.
5. Piping & valves.
6. Arranged Planned shut downs of the plants.
7. Deals with the external Auditors for ISO Documentation 9000.
