As a senior manager in Marketing I’m responsible for managing marketing strategy, deliver enhancements to improve marketing campaigns, targeting and growing customer base and profits. Key responsibilities include:
● Drive incremental Revenue through strategy & roll out of plans. Evaluate performance and ROI to improve trading performance of Business & the digital channels
● Deliver on business projects using data insights supplemented by customer, transactional and behavioural data to achieve business targets
● Manage team members from work to general management, as well as provide training and guidance on key projects
● Analysing and evaluating Online campaign activities to drive insights and improve targeting across customer segments
● Identifying trends, developing Strategies and presenting analysis to the Senior Management to support business decision making
● Drive Traffic, Improve Customer file and Profitability by creating strategic plans to increase customer Acquisition and Retention
● Delivering insights and recommendations to Board for long term strategic input
Being an integral part of the Marketing team I was responsible for driving digital marketing strategies, methodologies and using them to grow business activities.
● Managing new customer acquisition activities to improve acquisition across Online and Offline channels
● Responsible to devise test strategies across marketing activities which will enhance profitability and maintain growth for future activities
● Evaluating current communications; making recommendations towards improved data driven segmentation and campaign strategies
● Management of 3rd parties who can be used to enhance database selections and targeting at the optimum profitable level. Managing Data using various data modelling techniques
I was working in the Direct Marketing Unit of Proctor & Stevenson and my role involved creating visibility and support in running of Marketing campaigns, analysing results and generating dashboard for potential & qualified leads. The key responsibilities were:
● Perform pre-marketing analysis of huge CRM data sets and identify potential segments in the data as well as quality to be marketed
● Development of Business Intelligence reports, dashboards for commercial team and compilation of results from marketing campaigns
● Evaluation of campaign response, establishing conversion rates and analysis of lead generation as well as qualification and presenting results and recommendations to Clients
● Analysing customer activity and lead management, allowing to target and retarget further data-driven communications where response will deliver maximum ROI
● Carrying out translation of requirements into functional specifications, AS-IS TO-BE GAP Analysis, use case modelling and prototype design
● During Aug ‘08 - Jan’10 whilst doing my fulltime MBA, I worked part time with Proctor and Stevenson as a System Analyst
