coordination with external auditors provided assurance over adopted accounting treatment and policies to ensure compliance with IFRS, and
other accounting and regulatory requirements.
Further, conducted independent reviews of Risk and compliance processes and procedures at group level, identified and reported various
regulatory and procedural gaps and noncompliance; recommended best practices for effective risk management and provided training to Rusk
and compliance officers on COSO and ERM model.
Fraud & Investigation Enquiries
Proven track record in fraud investigation and special assignments related upon request of auditcommittee and higher management. Reported
fraudulent activities malpractice of employees with respect to fake invoicing, inflated purchases, kickbacks in contractual dealings and sale of
company’s assets worth millions of Saudi Riyals. Conducted presentations to CEO, president and other business executives, enabling them
appropriate disciplinary actions against perpetrators.
Effective role in Internal audit Governance
Upon request of audit committee, took part in review and update of Internal audit charter, Internal audit policies & procedures manual,
Code of Ethics, further, developed various Risk control matrices, Audit programs, checklists, special audit covering Accounts payable,
inventory and warehouse management, procurement, accounts receivable and financial reporting processes and provided training to
auditors for its effective usage in audit assignments.
IFRS convergence & compliance review
Successfully lead the challenging IFRS compliance review special assignment assigned by audit committee. Developed IFRS compliance review
control program with checklists and audit test plan for audit teams to evaluate current status of compliance with IAS/IFRS.
For selected IAS/IFRS tested finance operations and accounting procedures to check compliance with IFRS/IAS guidelines and reported
highlighted gaps to group finance & audit committee.
I was based in group Head office and reportable directly to Group Audit Head. I was involved in planning,
conducting finance, operations & adhoc audits and compiling audit reports for review of Group MD and Executive management.

I have worked with KPMG Pakistan for 4+ years and have been the part of Audit and Risk advisory services department (IARCS), the key
responsibilities and task I was responsible are as follows;

i completed all 14 paper of ACCA qualification in 2009 and become ACCA affiliate, after completing 3 years post qualification experience, was awarded by ACCA, Member status in 2013. I was also awarded Masters in commerce degree by higher education commission Pakistan in recognition to my ACCA studies equivalence to Masters degree in commerce.
