Project: Reconditioning, revamping and start-up Plopeni Waste Oil Plant.
• Managed all mechanical related Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Construction of the project; Ensured that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Managed construction and maintenance of temporary facilities.
• Monitored the assigned construction scope to ensure that the company and contractors perform all work to the agreed standards for safety, health and environment, and demonstrate a commitment to attain high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance;
• Actively participated in and advise on all construction activities and initiatives, including provision of training / inductions, documentation reviews, etc.
• Managed to develop close working relationships between all assigned construction team members and the HSES team to provide a consistent approach and effective resolution of issues, and encourage the same degree of cooperation within the Contractor organization;
• Coordinated with all project stakeholders, especially with customers, to facilitate project execution with minimum disruption and hazard to personnel and ongoing operations via the various EPC package construction teams;

• Fully familiar with the drawings, specifications and engineering procedures of the project; Acted as ultimate technical authority in Static Equipment Design, Engineering and Selection.
• Assisted in the review and approval of sub-contractors method statement; In charge for approval of final “as built" drawings
• Implemented the company safety policy and the arrangements described in the company and area safety management documents.
• Reviewed project studies and proposals for constructability and / or construction hazard identification.
• Ensured all preparatory work is completed prior to commencement of work; was responsible for manpower resource allocation and utilization on construction projects to ensure productivity is achieved on each project, duties included the recruitment of all personnel for the construction department; Provided expert advice and guidance to Engineering Management on the development of corporate guidelines that involves the static equipment input for piping, pipelines, rotating equipment and process packages, including issues such as advice on technical queries through different projects phases up to commissioning and also troubleshooting during operation.
• Ensured accurate progress and weekly reported of physical scope completion;
• Attended contractor progress meetings; ensured that the PMC construction team maintains efficient and effective communications between the Contractor and PMC and all contract reporting requirements are achieved; responded to, and evaluate field changes with assessment of any impact on cost and schedule in timely manner;
• Conducted work site inspections and ensure quality of work meets contract standards
• Participated in joint walk downs of systems / sub-system handover for pre-commissioning and commissioning teams
• Provided support to commissioning department for functional commissioning
Managed a team of 2 mechanical engineers, 1 process engineer, 32 welders, fitters, sand blasters, painters, crane operators.
