Since January 2009 I am the Service Manager for BCRS Egypt.
I have the overall responsibilities for all BCRS aspects in IBM Egypt
Senior Services Manager
• Develop the Services Strategy & Business Plan within the Country/MEA Region.
• Ensure correct implementation for the services strategy and plan
• Develop new business offers based on market requirements.
• Manage all services operation aspects and resources.
• I have the overall responsibilities for the BCRS customers relation (Develop, Maintain, Enhance and Ensure Customer Satisfactions)
Business Continuity and Resilience lead Consultant for IBM Egypt
Perform and lead multidisciplinary teams of consultant to perform all the following BCRS Consultancy Services
• BCM Program Management
• Risk Management.
• Business Impact Analysis.
• Develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans
• Develop a Crisis Communication Plans
• Develop Business Continuity Solutions for Customers
• Business Continuity Post Exercise
• Emergency Response Plan
• Business Continuity Awareness and Training
Engagements / Projects Manager
• Full responsibility for entire Engagement / project processes and life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Implementation, quality and closing) as per PMI and IBM standards.
• Risk Management
• Single point of contact for project communication between customers and IBM.
• Responsible for service quality and management of the service performance to consistently meet SLA targets.
• Day to day management of Subcontractor/third party services and relationships.
• Produce regular performance reports
• Represent regular project status review for different stakeholders
• Proactive communication and leadership to project team.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, presentation and communication skills
• Managed multidisciplinary teams (IT Services Operation Team and Projects Implementation Team)to do the following:
1. Implemented economic growth automation solutions on mission critical systems
2. Provided IT services Management for the international Donor.
3. IT Services Manager and Project Management officer reported directly to me
4. Developed the disaster recovery and risks management strategy,
5. Ensured proper implementation for risk management strategy.
Developed IT strategy and recommended recovery capability for the overall solution in addition to manage the overall project aspects
