• Investigate and assess alerts for potential money laundering risks in the Bank.
• Ensure efficient identification and monitoring of suspicious activities and transactions.
• Ensure timely, efficient reporting of suspicious transactions to AML Compliance Officer.
• Daily assessment of AML and SWIFT reports for potential suspicious activity.
• Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practice, criminal typologies and developing trends.

• Assist with AML Compliance Training especially on identification and reporting of suspicious transactions.
• Assist in the development of in-person AML/Economic Sanctions Compliance Training for new employees
• AML transaction analysis and investigation to identify the relationship and line of business between the Main entity and the counterparties which are involved in transactions.
• Conduct surveillance and scrutinize over multiple detection scenarios thrown by CAMP (Weekly wash, Daily, Monthly, High risk jurisdiction, multiple countries etc).
• Extensive research on alerts or events of different products and related transactions with a special focus on all the customer segments, Retail, Private banking and corporate.
• Preparing Audit logs on every Alerted Entity where in Customer profile, Transaction Analysis, Review period, Findings and observation and recommendation are to be covered.
• Assist the FCC Group (Request for Information) by providing reports on potential money laundering and suspicious activities to obtain appropriate customer explanation.
• Extensive knowledge of End to End transaction monitoring process flow.
• Liaise with Country people (Relationship management) in case any information is missing or outstanding for closing the alert.
• Understanding operational risks and controls.
• Acquired in-depth knowledge of fundamentals of Money laundering typologies and techniques, sanctions regulations, Red flags and its guidelines.
• Regulatory Compliance / Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) Monitoring / Review of KYC and KYCC / Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
• Maintain and generate daily reports, Trackers for audit and referral purpose.
• Investigated accounting documents of all departments and ensured compliance of each transaction with the set legal and ethical standards
