- Coordination and execution of large-scale pipeline and piping construction projects in both greenfield and brownfield project sectors.
- Oversight of all site activities to ensure work is executed in compliance with approved drawings, contract specifications, agreed procedure, method statements, and HSSE regulations.
- Preparing and Monitoring of Fabrication for Piping, Pipeline, structure, platforms etc... As per engineering codes/standards & ensuring the work is performed in accordance with the client specification.
- To perform work schedule arrangement of material, equipment and manpower utilization based on the site requirement without delaying of production within the set time frame.
- Fabrication and erection of Manifold and Hook-up (Tie- in), Compressor, HP, LP Process Piping, Instrument airline, Steam tracing line and Pipe line work.
- Attending meetings and discussing project details with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Participating in meetings and talking with clients, contractors, and stakeholders about the specifics of the project in order to provide successful technical communications within the discipline.
- To the project specifications, Scope of Work, and as per the approved Project Schedule.
- Preparing and participating of task risk assessment for the given job & mitigate the potential hazards to execute the job safely without LTI.
- Raise the technical query TQ if any details, deviation required from the drawing and specification.
- Reporting to Construction Manager/ site engineer for daily activities and progress of the site all the Mechanical, including progress, and critical issues.
- Ensure that project and design reviews are carried out to an appropriate standard.
- Responsible for implementation of the scope of work related to construction Execution of the works in conformity.
- Pipeline Installation works (PQR/WPS qualifications, Stringing, Main line / Tie-in welding works, etc.).
- Decommissioning & demolition of Piping & Pipelines for up gradation of New Facilities.
- Supervision of testing and pre-commissioning activities in particular to Pipe line / piping works cleaning, Gauging, Hydro testing, Calliper/MFL pigging, Vaccum Drying, Nitrogen Blanketing prior to commissioning.
- Attended shut down activities and have good knowledge about all TURN AROUND SHUTDOWN related activities of OIL & GAS Plant, Fertilizer, Refinery and Petro-chemical.
- Good knowledge of isolation and de-isolation activities as Per LOTO Procedure and modification of existing system of piping and TIE-IN with new systems.
- Fabrication and Erection of annular plates, bottom plates, shell plate, rolling ladder, and roof sealing and clean out door (COD).
- Construction of floating roof (FR), Internal floating roof (IFR), Cone roof (CR) Dome roof (DR) and carry out orientation of tank Nozzle and shell development of oil storage tank as per project specification.
- Construction of Tanks, drainage system and associated facilities, gasoline blending system.
- Supervision for the installation of GRE, GRP Piping, and Fire water Sprinklers/Deluge system.
- Installation of stack nozzles like Flow, RATA/ Sample and Ammonia.
- Installation of All types of Stack structure platform, structure support, ladder and Gratings.
- To conduct lifting study & assessment of the lifting operation with STI approved lifting tools/tackles & ensuring the correct lifting technique.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all rigging and lifting activities to ensure compliance with the safety procedures and method statements & Ensuring that all HSE requirements are met and implemented.
- Adhere to Company Safety rules and Standards and promote safety culture in the construction.
CLIENT: QATAR ENERGY
PROJECT: 1- EPIC for MTBE tanks and pipeline between QAFAC and QP refinery.
2- EPIC for Domestic supply of butane from NGL complex to QP Refinery Mesaieed, phase-1.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reading and understanding all Types of Drawings like Cause & Effect, Hookup, P&ID, Pipe line & Piping General Arrangements(GA), Isometric Drawings, Structure Drawings, civil Drawing etc. to execute the work as per Client specification & Standard.
-Attended shut down activities and have good knowledge about all TURN AROUND SHUTDOWN related activities of OIL & GAS Plant, Fertilizer, Refinery and Petro-chemical.
-Installation of transfer pumps, metering system, Hook-up spool in utility station, Pump, Vessel and All types of Valves like SDV, LCV, MOV, BDV for associated facilities.
-Ensure the Flange management system during Bolt Torqueing/Tightening
-To monitor progress of fabrication, erection work and liaise with construction superintendent on a daily basis.
- Ability to carry out Mechanical, Piping installation, new tank work & replacement of tank and other accessories

- To Ensure that all work is carry out in accordance with agreed method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis.
- Responsible for planning and executing piping, pipeline projects to ensure maximum productivity while keeping an optimum level of quality. Supervising and guiding on all incoming documents for piping, pipeline, making as-built drawings and mark-ups on modified lines in the field.
- Responsible for coordinating and supervision of installation, testing and inspection of piping support and all kinds of mechanical equipment
- Client/vendor coordination, and necessary documents preparation, e.g. plan and procedures like arranging site set-up and obtaining clients' approval and preparation of job hazard assessment
- To check that hydro test, pneumatic test are performed in accordance with approved test packages & specification requirements.
- To perform drying, air purging & nitrogen blanketing of pipe spools before commissioning.
- Supervision of testing and pre-commissioning activities in particular to Pipe line / piping works cleaning, Gauging, Hydro testing, Calliper/MFL pigging, Vaccum Drying, Nitrogen Blanketing prior to commissioning.

- Control and conduct a site preparations and Mechanical works for early works and main works.
- Ensure that the project start on time and end within the estimated duration.
- Conduct work site inspections and ensure quality of work meets contract standards.
- Ensure the construction subcontractors perform activities with the latest approved for construction drawings.
- Conducting daily tool box talk, make sure everybody attending tool box and ensuring employees comply with company safety policy. Reporting every incident, near miss, accident to the safety department.
- To ensure that risk assessment has been undertaken & agreed with client prior to start any new activity.
ONGCL
PROJECT: 1- SHP Platform ONGCL south field.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - - - Fabrication & Erection of process piping, steam line, water line as per approved construction drawing.
- Assist construction team to resolve the technical problems met on site.
- Review and approve contractor documents, such as drawings, calculation reports and material take-off.
- Organize site visits for inspections and sketches engineering preparation.
- Update of civil and structural drawings further to site modifications reported.
- Prepare details of shop drawings required for various structures erected on the site.
- Ensure the conformity of construction activities as per standards and specifications.
- Provide immediate solution of problems at site for on on-going issues.
- Analyze comment and approval drawings prepared by subcontractors engineering offices.
- Support the workforce with structural technical advice and assistance.
- Prepare quantity take-off and technical specifications for materials procurement.
- Ensure that rules, regulations, and guidelines are follows without exception.
- Prepare the daily, weekly, and monthly reports for piping and structural activities.
- Check the list and revision number of documents transmitted to construction subcontractor.
- Check materials supplied by Subcontractors are following the approved specifications and standards.
- Participate in contractor corrective actions and ensuring resolution of nonconformities.
- Ensure that subcontractors are following project HSE regulation.
- Supervision of fabrication & erection of process piping, steam line, water line as per approved construction drawing and control and monitoring all Mechanical works
- Prepare and update project logs for submittals, RFI‘s and change orders.
- Supervise labor during construction to ensure works are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Check the red mark up and approve of final ‘as built’ drawings.
-Follow and maintain company standards of quality in accordance of company quality system requirements.
