Chief Content Creator at EPAM Systems for Qatar Tourism
The Marketing Department is responsible for developing, planning and executing all marketing activities, including events, films, photography, content, digital experience, promotional campaigns, sponsorship and branding in accordance with the SC’s strategic programme direction.
Key responsibilities:
The below applies across the three Businesses (the SC, Host Country and the Tournament).
• Writing, reviewing and editing Arabic content produced by the SC for external audiences, including for use in publications, online and offline marketing campaigns, and any content produced in draft form by other divisions of the Marketing Department or other departments within the SC.
• Creating engaging and informative Arabic content for all publications, marketing, events, films, and branding applications.
• Transcreating content from English to ensure suitability for Arabic speaking audiences, going beyond simple Arabic translations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop, communicate and pitch campaigns, including strategy, goals, budget and calendar.
• Ensuring the SC’s Arabic Writing Style Guide is regularly updated and adhered to in all SC communications.
• Editing Arabic copy to ensure it is well written, conforms to brand language guidelines, and is well structured.
• Developing creative copy in support of marketing initiatives across all platforms and on Qatar 2022 website.
• Providing guidance and support to all departments to maximize the impact of all written communications.
• Assisting in Arabic content development for all publications, presentations, films, and other marketing collaterals.
• Ensuring the assigned responsibilities are delivered to a high standard of quality and timeliness.
• Worked for international clientele (Duolingo, TransPerfect, LocTeam, Reflective Source UK, mother tongue, etc.) in translation from EN/FR into AR and AR copywriting of 250+ projects.
• Acquired wide range of skills: Translation Management Systems (TMS), website building platforms, subtitling programs, social media marketing, etc.
• Gained extensive experience in transcreating advertising and promotional materials, e-commerce, fashion, gaming, iOS and Android apps, websites, technical documentation, manuals and user guides, press releases, and magazine articles, among many others.
