Reverse Engineering of the Parts including capital parts for other OEM Generators
Overall responsibility in design and technical documentation
Conducting Technical risk review for Stator and Rotor Rewinds
Technical Support in the activities including inspections, overhauls, rotor rewinding, stator rewinding, repairs, supply of noble parts (such as retaining rings)
Support Sales, workshop, site, vendors (manufacture), project management and
customer service managers in generator technical areas
Hands-on experience of complete rotor refurbishment including rapid rotor rewinds
Schedule, define and create project and component specific Inspection and Test plans
Quality inspections for Turbo-Generator materials and consumables
Review Customer Field Service reports
NCR resolution and condition assessment of the generators
Organize monthly Generator Business review meetings
Provide technical recommendations to queries from customers
Provide technical requirements and support Supply Chain Management in obtaining production hardware quotations
Create and support on site customer presentations of proposed repairs / refurbishment
Develop and support new R&D processes, designs, and testing in coordination Lead centers in
Europe
Create and maintain work procedures to improve cycle time and cost for on-site projects
Troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical problems for generator, identifying and resolving as required
Resolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Develop new design or prepare design modifications to resolve issues following established procedures

Project management and planning which includes conducting reviews with the contractors, prioritizing field activities and allocating resources to achieve progress in key focus areas to meet project schedules, ensuring cash flow, taking day to day site level decisions.
Planning, coordinating and executing erection & commissioning of power plant equipments viz. Turbines, Turbo-Generators, Pumps, Steel Structures, High temperature insulation
Erection & welding of HP & LP Piping in Power Cycle Piping
Erection of Contingency Arrangement for unit steam blowing and Safety Valve Floating
Liaison with client for requirements gathering, feasibility and timeline estimation
Serving as SPOC between Licensors and Consultants to ensure customized project implementation
To liaise with Technical Department and manufacturing centers for improvement and to standardize product.
Coordinating weekly project review meetings and follow up on the pending tasks
Guiding Multi-disciplinary teams at Site in Planning, Monitoring & Control of thermal power project
