Key Result Areas:

Assess the type of tender, client and closing date of tender to determine prioritization of all tenders.

Handling interior fit out projects covering commercial buildings, Hotels, Hospitals, Restaurants with in-depth
abilities in studying contracts, analyzing variations, preparing tenders-BOQ-EOT claims and providing training
to the new recruits

Liaising with Subcontractors, Architects and Clients

Analyze drawing, specifications and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

Visiting sites to gather as built information, compile data gathered and conduct internal meetings to discuss on
technical/practical feasibility of various aspects of the proposal

Responsible for creating subcontractor list for specialized work involved in the project and float inquiry

Involved in negotiating with the suppliers to get the best price for the job

Presenting robust value engineering options to the client

Assessing resource requirement including material samples, catalogues and technical specifications; involved
in negotiating purchase order and finalizing scope with subcontractors

When necessary, refer to previous projects of similar nature for cost comparison.

Coordinates with the client on all changes in scope, questions or clarifications regarding the work, during the
bidding process.

Acts as a resource to project management during the award / start-up phase to clarify any issues regarding
what was considered in the estimate including materials and methods of construction.

Reviews budget and project profitability status and goals with supervision and project team as required. Seeks
input on corrective measures to continuously improve the identification and accuracy of cost figures.

Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics.

Responsible for preparation of budget for the projects and interfacing with Post Contracts Team to prepare the
budget.

Finalization of tender with Commercial and contract Manager.
