• Etisalat is one of the leading Telecom Organizations of Middle east, Asia and Africa and Market Leader of UAE
• Working as RAN Network Performance Engineer, handling front office, back office, vendors (Huawei, Ericson & ALU) and FLM teams for fast track resolution of Network incidents affecting major KPIs degradations
• Monitoring of Radio Access Network KPIs of 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE) of different vendor equipment like Huawei, Ericson & ALU
• Monitoring of P1 VVIP sites (UAE Royal Family) coverage network KPIs
• Escalation of affected network KPIs to concerned vendor, FO, BO, FLM teams and strong follow up till resolution
• Lodging of Trouble Tickets through HP Service Manager and follow up till closure
• Analysis of call drops of VVPIs (Royal Families) through Geolaction and Anritsu Applications and suggesting for possible solutions to higher management
• Monitoring the Network of special events occurring in whole UAE like “Formula One Race”, Dubai Shopping Festival etc
• Hands-on experience of tools Qlikview (2G, 3G, 4G access network dashboards), Geolocatio, Anritsu (Call traces and analysis), HP Service Manager (Trouble Ticket)
• Deep knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G Network KPIs TCH, CSSR, PS CSSR, CS CSSR, PS RAB, CS RAB, ERAB, CSFB, RRC etc
• Daily, weekly and monthly reports
Team lead level-1 & level-2 O&M responsibilities of Access Network region comprising of 7 BSCs, nearly 500 BTS cell sites and MW links.
Managing all the issues related to BSS, Transmissions, AC/DC power systems, Diesel Generators, DG Fuel pouring, Air Conditions and Security guards.
Also handling the leased media issues of fiber-Optic communication, Microwave communication through the Service provider PTCL.
Hardware and Software alarm handling and trouble shooting of BTS Cell Sites, BSCs, Abis, Ater, A and Gb interfaces
Fault handling and trouble shooting of HUAWEI BSC version 3200 and BSC version 6000.
Fault handling and trouble shooting of HUAWEI cell BTS version 3012 and 3012AE
Fault handling and troubleshooting of Microwave links of NEC Japan, Huawei RTN 610, 620 Optix and 950 series, Siemens Sral, Sral XD
Timely resolution and rectification of RF, VSWR and Hardware failure faults
Round the clock On-Call responsibilities ready to receive and rectify the alarms of BSC, BTS and MW network from NOC-R, NOC-S and NOC-T.
Monthly Preventive and corrective maintenances of BSC, BTS, MW, Rectifiers, Battery Banks etc
Software up gradation activities of BSC6000 and BTS 3012/3012AE
Maintenance and rectification of External/Environmental and internal alarms at BSC, BTS and Transmission sites.
Managing the Project issues of new Cell sites and BSCs to be launched in the region from installation, commissioning up to commercial launch and implementation of modifications w.r.t O&M scenario.
Experience of Installation, commissioning and restoration of flood affected BTS and MW sites
Experience of BSC Cut-Over of more than 80 BTS cell sites in single night activity
Conduct of Acceptance test procedure (ATP) with Vendors
>Installation, Commissioning, Integration and O&M of Huawei BSS and MW Transmission Network equipment for different GSM operator companies like Ufone GSM, Warid Tel.
> Acceptance Test procedures with customer
> VSWR, TRX power, E1 Testing activities through E1 Tester and Bird, Anristu Site Masters
> Pre-installation site surveys and Quality checking after intallation
> Reporting
Through out first class four years Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication and distinct with honours.
