>Attend and responds to all emergency calls such as fire, vehicular accidents, and other natural or man-made calamities.
>Give initial appropriate emergency measures to the victim while transporting to the nearest hospital.
>Inspect and assess assigned building establishment's for fire safety such as checking any blockage to the fire exits, secure the maintenance of all fire fighting equipments, recommend of appropriate fire extinguishers to the content of the building, and report to the superior/immediate commander all the inappropriate findings from all inspected establishments
• Receives critical and non-critical patient’s case,
• Assess patient and apply immediate nursing measures,
• Gather patient’s data and vital signs before informing the doctor,
• Give medicine \[oral, injectible, or parenteral fluids\] as per doctor’s order,
• Prioritize patient’s case to be attended accordingly,
• Prepare instruments for suturing and other instruments for minor procedure in the emergency room,
• Assist the doctor in every procedure,
• Documents procedures rendered to the patient,
• Endorse patient to the ward nurse or to the OR/DR nurse for further management.
