The Medical Colleges in which I have worked in are pioneer teaching medical institutions of Kerala, and are referral centers. One of them is 1225 bedded hospital where around 16, 000 deliveries, 4, 200 caesarean cases are being conducted per year. Vide varieties of obstetric and gynaec cases are encountered and attended. Obstetric cases include uncomplicated pregnancies, multiple pregnancy, breech, placenta previa, abruption, PPH and so forth. Gynaec cases include, fibroid uterus, prolapse uterus, DUB, ectopic gestation, carcinoma of the genital tract, endometriosis and so forth. I have independently done about 5, 000 LSCS both elective and emergency, more than 100 hysterectomies, 100 laparotomies, 120 ovarian cystectomy and ovariotomy and about 100 myomectomies. I have also done diagnostic laparoscopy, chromotubation, hysteroscopy and assisted hysteroscopical surgical procedures. I have supervised and conducted about 10, 000 deliveries which include vacuum and outlet forceps delivery, breech delivery, twin delivery, etc. The minor procedures done include endometrial aspiration, endometrial biopsy, cervical biopsy, fractional curettage, suction evacuation of vesicular mole, etc.
