Ahamed Rifdy

Completed a final-year research project titled “The Effect of Corporate Governance Characteristics on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure”, analyzing how governance factors such as board independence, board size, and audit committees influence CSR disclosure among companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. Conducted quantitative data analysis using annual reports from manufacturing, hospitality, and healthcare sectors to evaluate transparency and compliance with voluntary reporting frameworks.Actively participated in academic and extracurricular activities during studies, including serving as Treasurer of the Commerce Society at MR/Arafa National School, managing budgets and organizing financial activities for events. Also achieved 2nd and 3rd place in 100m, 400m, and 800m events at the National Youth Festival Divisional Meets, demonstrating leadership, discipline, and teamwork.
