Program Coordinator / Students Experience Manager
ReBootKamp
Total years of experience :13 years, 9 Months
● Primary point of contact for trainees and staff
● Teaching software engineering and computer science fundamentals
● Scheduling and coordinating all daily classroom activities
● Leading mentorship program that hires volunteers to mentor students
Helped building the E-learning system (FRODO)
Trained candidates on building web apps using our stack (Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL) Wrote test driven code that helps building a well tested code
Worked with a team to solve efficiency challenges by refactoring our app code
Helped designing the data model for different web apps built by our teams
Held Scrum meetings in a daily basis
Participated in designing the training material
Technologies used: Python 2.7, Git, GitHub, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, Agile
Taught “Introduction to Computer Science / C++ programming language” for undergraduate students.
Radar system project - back end:
As a team member in Computer Engineering department, I participated in developing the entire project
to create a radar system from scratch. This system is able to detect the car speed and capture a photo
of the license plate of the violated car. Using the image processing technologies supported in C++, the
system is designed to detect the car number.
Technologies used: C++ ( OpenCV )
Worked as a Teaching Assistant in Computer Engineering department to help students in their projects
and lab assignments. As a Research Assistant, I participated in implementing and performing
experiments required for the research and provide results to the researchers.
Helped students in their class projects by administering and configuring the system and work
environment, and gathering requirements, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the projects.
Implemented too many experiments using Matlab, C++, and OMNet++ in both Windows and Linux.
Technologies used: Matlab 7.0, MS Visual Studio 6 and 2008, OMNet++ 3.3
Relevant Coursework: Operating Systems Design, Computer Complexity, Computer Vision, Algorithms Analysis, Compiler Design, Artificial Intelligence, Research Methodologies, and Business Communication Relevant Project: FingerShooter video game Desktop application that reads the finger moves from a camera and display the finger on the screen shooting from the fingertip and in its direction. While the hand is moving in front of a camera connected with the PC, the program should create bubbles coming out of any finger pointing and coming off the hand in the direction on that finger. Created my own algorithm to detect the Fingertip and the direction. Technologies used: Linux C++(OpenCV)
Relevant Coursework: Object-Oriented Programming, C++ Programming, HTML Web Design, Operating Systems, Networks and Security, Data Communication, Digital Logic Design, Numerical Analysis.
