Alamar foods is a master franchise operator for Domino’s pizza in the MENAP (Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan) region, in addition to Premier foods which produces an extensive range of further processed meat & poultry products, supplying over 30 of the world’s international food brands and exports to 14 countries.
As Group Statutory Reporting Manager, I am responsible of group reporting consolidated reports, on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis, dealing with the external auditors across the audit process including the interim reviews, discussing subsidiaries queries with each subsidiary’s finance teams, and assuring best accounting treatments all over the group.
KPMG is an international network of member firms in more than 150 countries offering Audit, Tax and Advisory services. KPMG is one of the big four firms worldwide in providing such services.
Within this intensive work experience, I was in charge of audit engagements in different industries such as retail, manufacturing and services through supervising and coaching audit teams starting from planning the engagement, risk assessment, controls evaluation, substantive testing and ending by completion phase.
As an Audit Manager, I was able to read, analyse and understand financial statements of various industries. Moreover, I was responsible for key areas such as client and engagement acceptance procedures, kick off and close out meetings, analytical procedures and discussing audit issues and complex accounting treatments with the executive management of clients.
