The efficient processing and planning of client requests in accordance with statutory requirements
and company policy as defined in the OM and SOP
Utilizing the manuals and publications within the company’s operations library:
o AIC (Aeronautical Information Circulars)
o ANO (Air Navigation Orders) and Regulations
o Company Operations Manuals
o Operational Notifications
o AIP/AIS
Coordinating with customers, third-party vendors, pilots, administrators, dispatchers, and schedulers
to create, execute, and monitor international trip coordination, including short-notice international
service requests
Examining regulatory and permit requirements, secure slots and PPRs, overflight & landing clearances
as well as coordinating all other flight operations activities
Interacting with all concerned departments including ground operation, fuel operations and flight
planning for any related issues
Handling flight operations correspondence, mail and e-mails, on a daily basis.
OPERATIONS:
•Improve the flight scheduling system to streamline the estimated availability of fleet based on methodical and analytical tracking system within 1 week using Zero budget.
•Establish a (Maintenance Reporting System) through mutual cooperation with Maintenance Department resulting to 30% reduction of late flying missions due to aircraft operational failures.
•Reduce the time of compiling and generating student’s progress reports on monthly basis by 15%.
•Prepare the daily flight schedule and inform all interested departments.
•Train 7 staff members to use Flight school system (Flight Log system) after mastering the system and becoming the sole administrator within 3 years. ( Flight Log System is a fully Featured Flying Training Management System used by Civilian professional Pilot Training Schools in Jordan and UK and by all of the Flying training schools in the Royal Air force in UK including the central flying school and the RAF Aerobatics Team- Red Arrows).
•Persuade the management to adopt the AFTN (ATC Flight Plan System) of the daily work with NOTAMs offices and Air Traffic Controllers; enhancing the efficiency of the process and saving 13% of operational time spent on filing the paper based ATC flight plans.
•Reorganized the process of keeping students flight school records to become more systematic and compliant with the Academy training manuals.
•Lead and program a Ferry Flight of (Diamond DA-42) from Aqaba - Jordan to Coventry - UK including : obtaining over flying and landing permissions of 4 stops, research the best options of flying route and arranging the logistics plan for the ferry flight.
QUALITY AND PLANNING:
•Supervise the process of updating the Aircraft documents (Checklist and Aircraft Flight Manual) on weekly basis and meeting the criteria of CARC audit for the first time in two years due to lack of Alert check by the previous task holder.
•Assist in the establishment of Cadet Master Sheet-CMS (Excel Sheet based Planning Tool): that shows all students training progress starting from Ground school up to graduation on daily basis, breaks down all needed resources( Instructors and Aircraft) on current basis and provides an approximate projection of needed recourses up to 24 months ahead.
•Manage the CMS on daily basis tactfully by collecting data from other sources internally (Ground School, Finance, Visa Consultant) and externally including the sister school of the Academy Atlantic Flight Training - AFT located in Coventry and work closely with the operations Management there to reach a true copy of the sheet through comprehensive briefs back and forth and train 10 employees to utilize the data.
•Report realistic analysis of the CMS data facts to the management in order to use them in the Main Resource Planning Act - RPA on weekly basis through a planning meeting.
•Archive and maintain a legacy copy of all students’ progress plans for both Ayla and AFT.
GROUND HANDLING SERVICES:
•Instituted the operation Handling team of RASCJ- Royal Aero sports Club of Jordan which is: a non-profit organization established with Royal support and managed by Ayla Aviation Academy.
•Correspond to all queries related to Aircraft handling: (Obtaining a CARC Approved Jordanian Overflying and Landing permissions for King Hussein international Airport/ Aqaba- Jordan, and prepare Logistic plans for the Crew, File ATC Flight Plans) and manage the focal point of operations.
•Generate revenue of $6, 000 to the club by pioneering the Marketing of the services and attracting 4+ clients with constant request of services.
•Lead and program 5 Ferry Flights of (Cessna-C172) from Aqaba - Jordan to Antalya - Turkey including : obtaining over flying and landing permissions of 2 stops, research the best options of flying route and arranging the logistics plan for the ferry flight.
•Create a system for tracking flights cancellations within 1 week which results in a more comprehensive reporting system for the Management.
•Prepare ATC Flight plans.
•Maintain Daily Flight Schedule .
•Review and evaluate weather information to determine potential flight safety hazards.
•Check the METARs, TAFs, NOTAMs and other information required for the safe completion of the flights.
•Manage the economic operational control for the daily flight operations
•Monitor Aircraft position report, Aeronautical Navigation Charts and Aircraft Radio calls to evaluate progress and Safety of flights.
•Received a full internal training program on using Jepesen IFR charts software.
The purpose of this course is to train new Flight Operations Officers with minimal or no previous aviation experience. Majors: Meteorology, Weight and balance, Navigation, Jepesen charts, Aerodynamics, Flight planning, Aircraft systems, Aircrafts Performance, NOTAM’s, FAA Rules and regulations. Accomplishments : Aircraft Dispatcher License from CARC (Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission). Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate from JATS (Jordan aviation training and simulation). DRM (Dispatcher Resources management) Certificate from JATS (Jordan aviation training and simulation).
- Minor: Operational Management Automation and Computing systems. - Faculty of Planning and Management - Awarded the first place of Management Information Systems (MIS) department students in the third year as the highest grade.
