After Studying and analyzing the current existing different systems thoroughly, started full business process analysis, user requirements collection, software documentation, and prepared a full study for the required Manufacturing ERP system to be implemented replacing the several existing weak, nonintegrated, and time consuming systems. Aiming at the enhancement of manufacturing process, scheduling, materials requirements, equipment capacity, shop floor controls, warehousing, transportation, and purchasing functions to efficiently execute and meet on-time delivery and inventory control objectives.
Guiding and performing strategic analysis for implementing a single cloud based highly performing system that covers projects costing & estimation, MRP, Quoting, Production shop floor, Inventory, Purchasing, CRM, Project management, HR, and Accounting, currently at the end of stage two on implementing the system that will help in optimizing the whole business flow, and will give full support in enhancing the job’s production and on time delivery, optimizing resource utilization and enhance machines scheduling, eliminate gaps in production schedule, and provide daily statistical and financial figures for all transaction in every department in the factory. Developing methods for measuring results and formalizing KPI’s, and continuing with organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on time completion, planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communication. Around 85 Manufacturing ERP providers from different countries were contacted before the best Manufacturing ERP that suites the business specificity at 4fest, which includes various types of specialties cooperating in producing the final project including robots, automated machines, large format printers, CNC routers, and also handicrafts. Currently managing the new ERP Project implementation and finalizing stage two. Furthermore, my duties at 4fest includes
- Supervising the complete scope of the IT function including strategy, policy, planning, design, projects, operations, monitoring, maintenance of all IT related matters, architecture, applications, data, network, mobile technology, telephony, infrastructure, and security.
- Implementing Infrastructure for virtual servers, virtual machines, using a VMware environment, vSphere, and performing maintenance, provide Technical Support, and suggesting recommending Solutions
- Participating in the creation, integration, and migration of the existing and planned platforms
- Maintaining database systems and applying design to business solutions
- Network security, availability and speed maintaining and monitoring
- Implementing IT security strategies and tactics
- Conducting research and implementing appropriate enhancements to information security architecture
- In charge of the company’s technology strategy and responsible for advancing it in the three branches in Kuwait, Dubai, and Lebanon
- Creating business cases for IT projects
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget and ensuring cost effectiveness for the IT department
- Supervising IT staff members and identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Developing and implementing IT policies and best practice guides for the organization including operational and disaster recovery procedures
- Conducting analysis of recurring problems and taking preventive actions
- Running regular system audits and check on network and data security
- Communicate with purchasing, customer service, production, quality/regulatory, other manufacturing sites and sales to coordinate plans/schedules and collaborate on problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities
- Optimize resource utilization and avoid scheduling conflicts.
Responsible for design of systems for several major projects, Managing projects from initiation stage to closing for software development Applications including ERP software, business systems applications, Clinic Management System, Hotel Management, and Project Management system’s technical and functional design, Provide formal user interface design and requirements documentation, Establishing a project communication plan, Looking after setting up project execution procedures as well as project execution plans. Defining a baseline for performance measurement, lead the whole cycle of project software production and installation including user requirements collection, analyzing requirements, writing technical documentation, and UI design for several companies and medical centers for successful delivery, including consultations and support for the management of those organizations and companies in IT infrastructure building and planning for network, hardware, and software implementation and operation.
Familiar with structured development environment and formal project management methodologies, having the ability to communicate clearly at an appropriate level to both senior and technical professionals. Also having strong documentation, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
My core responsibilities at GAITS includes:
• Developing features across multiple subsystems within the application, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Analyzing business requirements and propose solution models.
• Translating system requirements to task
specifications to software engineers
• Creating high level and low level design
documents including DFD, flowcharts
• ER diagrams and various technical specifications.
• Conducting code reviews and debugging of
complex programs.
• Optimizing solutions for performance and
accuracy.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to
junior members of the team
My duties at the Gulf University for Science and technology was mainly to enhance and improve the quality of IT services provided to Academic Staff, Administrative Staff, and Students, through a daily follow up of the quality of audio visual, IT services, Software, and Hardware provided to classes and events by following specific policies and procedures and utilizing the system center software that boosts the technical support process and gives dashboards and results for daily IT issues and assigned tasks.
Heavily involved in maintaining computing environment by identifying network requirements;
installing upgrades; monitoring network performance, security system administration and
hardware support for the Hardware, software and medical instruments issues including the
bellow duties.
• Establishing network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow,
• access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration,
• including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPNgateways, intrusion detection systems
• evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput,
• goodput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation,
• configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and
• analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
• Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation.
• Maintain overall IT performance by performance monitoring and analysis, performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; and escalating problems to vendor
• Upgrade all IT and software needs by conferring with vendor; developing, testing, and installing enhancements for the clinic management system, and the several interfacing software that communicate with medical and dental machines and medical instruments
• Conduct feasibility studies and meet with vendors to assess the best products for the clinical infrastructure
• Preparing and executing systems maintenance plans to proactively manage reliability and service expectations
• Applying the daily and weekly required checkups to insure that all IT related aspects including the clinic managements system, DB servers, Xray servers, network and routers, interfacing software and devices, DVR, sound system, IP telephony are performing properly and up to date
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Training staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• Replacing parts as required
• Providing support, including procedural documentation
• Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Refine data and format final product.
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications using Progress v9 language.
• Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
My duties at Itani Group as a programmer included programming Accounting, Purchasing, POS, and Payroll applications, trying to apply needed modifications to bring more eligibility for the ERP application, and make it more user friendly, also was heavily involved in database design and implementation, and supporting development team with good ideas aiming at improving the overall ERP performance and GUI.
Participate in the design, administration and monitoring of clinical trials. Analyze and evaluate clinical data gathered during research. Ensure compliance with protocol and overall clinical objectives.
