Rizzani de Eccher - OHL - Boodai - Trevi JV (ROBT JV, RA167) is the main contractor of Jamal Abdul Nasser Street (JANS) Project in Kuwait City under MPW with consultants The Louis Berger Group Inc. and Pan Arab Consultant Engineers.

Accomplishments:
• Instrumental in handling customs & logistics operations for a mega infrastructure project worth in excess of US$ 1.4 Billion.
• Accredited with Bonus of KWD 350.000 for outstanding performance and commitment during the year 2013.
• Dexterously supported continuous improvement initiatives and identified inefficiencies & cost optimization opportunities.
• Leveraged different Incoterms2000 whilst managing the seamless movement of more than 5000 Containers of Post tensioning strands and SS Binding Wires by sea and land, 8, 000 Low bed trailers containing 7, 700 nos. of Precast Segments each of 28 tons, 900 nos. of Ductile Iron pipes & 10, 000 fittings of major diameter DN800 up to DN 1200.
• Reported directly to Procurement Manager / Finance & Administration Manager.

• Commanded Customs and Logistics activities of the project and contracts, ensured compliance with client’s (MPW) parameters and company policies.
• Optimized the logistics operations, supported delivery of agreed service levels, safely and within budget. Ensured that logistics KPI are aligned with SLA
• Led a dynamic cross function team comprising of Logistics supervisor, Customs broker, Store Supervisors / Store Keepers and Material Controllers.
• Tracked Purchase Orders with the local or International suppliers till materials arrives to Company warehouse/work sites
• Liaised with shipping suppliers for shipment arrivals ETA and collection of delivery orders.
• Arranged delivery / distribution of materials containers directly from loading port to work sites.
• Monitored the 3rd party customs clearing agent daily operations.
• Managed costs/expense within Clearance functions and identified money saving initiatives.
• Optimized the planning of shipments, determined optimal delivery sequences and transportation dates/times. Arranged/ followed all the shipments transportations from the time of loading till offloaded in site or warehouse.
• Ensured optimal usage of resources- effectively planned receipt and distribution of project fuel supplies from Kuwait National Petroleum Company.
• Monitored the creation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports covering the key elements of the Logistics Operation Advised Finance dept. for advance payment and notified shipment schedules

• Limit 3rd Party intervention in clearances with customs issues. Handled non-conformities and irregularities effectively and referred any unresolved matters to the Manager.
