I have been supervising GIS works in one of our projects in 10 municipalities in Riyadh. This includes establishing a GIS system in every municipility to improve their core business and the productivity of employees by:
1. transform all related data into digital geographic version to manipulated and improved through ArcGIS.
2. prepare the suitable database to connect with their geographic features
3. developing specialist GIS interfaces
4. finally ideal GIS departments were established
• Operating and supervising all daily operations of business in order to ensure overall productivity
• Developing new strategies to produce highly accurate digital maps & GIS designs for fiber optical networks.
• Supervising & coordinating GIS team members in order to control GIS works through ESRI products such as SDE & ArcGIS.
• Preparing GIS as built for contractors to follow.
• Preparing High zooming maps for cables maintenance operations to reduce costs & time consuming.
• Examining the works provide by contractors to guarantee a high accurate and useful maps.
• Cooperation with different sections such as maintenance and design sections to improve the Entire work of the NBN program.
• Carrying out field survey works which give a hand a long side GIS maps to other program's departments.
• Using GIS to calculate statistics numbers
• Establishing SDE & IMS server
• A team member & coordinator for the Jordanian national GIS committee, it is established to supervise & integrate all sectors' GIS works into one GIS entity.
• Address information application for new customers using ESRI products.
• Caring out Base Maps updating, using Arc GIS.
• Linking Customer database with GIS Base map. Database table and produce Link Matrix result in order to improve either maintenance operations and invoice delivery.
• Route digitizing and Updating using Arcview 9 for improving collectors work and producing GIS based meter reading lists.
• Route, update base map& GIS customer affairs operating management system (OMS) project.
• Supervising GIS works over around all governorates to guarantee that work products are committed to the national scale.
