PB Experience
Amman, Jordan: Electrical Engineer (March 2006-April 2012).

Working in one of the biggest consulting engineering firms in the world; PARSONS BRINCKERHOFF since March 2006 till now, including following activities:

Worked as assistant engineer in preparing tender documents; scope of work, bill of quantities and single line diagrams for all 132/33/11kV substation projects as part of the international programme of rebuilding Iraq, finance by the US Government and directed by PB Jordan office.

My duty was in design review and any technical support:

• 132/33/11kV Substation design (Indoor and Outdoor) in Iraq; reviewing of technical documentations of all substation equipments for various manufacturers (as SIMENS, AREVA, ABB) including transformers, switchgears, protection system, control system, grounding system, communications, SCADA system, CT and VT calculation…etc.

• Extensive design review for the 132/11kV GIS substation works of the running Limitless and JAFZA Projects in Dubai including visits and coordination with DEWA since July 2008.

• Have been working in the 11 kV distribution substations automation project within the central region of Abu Dhabi doing the required site survey and technical assessment.

•132kV and 11kV switchgear components commissioning; Recently and after a technical interview by DEWA, I got the approval to be a commissioning engineer for the 132kV Jabal Ali Free Zone substations in Dubai, supervising the commissioning activities of the 132kV and 11kV CT’s, VT’s and components such as trip and supervision relays, metrosils, meters…etc.

• During that I’m performing as project coordinator managing remote design review works by PB engineers located in different places in the Middle East and England.
