Conduct technical research on systems upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current systems
Research and recommend hardware and software development, purchase and use
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
Prepared detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes
Diagnose large- scale problems and devise methods to patch and repair the system
Analyze, design, implement and administer local area networks by ensuring connectivity and compatibility with current systems
Assemble and configure computer systems from the ground up which includes: ram, hard-drive, floppy and zip drives, cdrw and dvd, motherboards, various peripherals: Network & Sound Adapters, TV out, Int/Ext modems.
Provide desktop support, upgrade computer systems software and hardware according to the clients order
Record a weekly AccPac inventory report over the defective hardware parts and ship them to the Head Office
Promoted to a Manager position after six months at the Service Department
Work closely with our clients in overcoming their lack of understanding with various software and operating systems difficulties
