- Following up new projects progress with other department & vendors.
- Commissioning & Acceptance of transmission equipments in Transmission rollout Projects.
- Transmission operations SPOC for evaluating new equipments and corresponding NMS.
- Follow up CSR's and provide the supplier with required data and applying answers.
- Preparing incident reports related to Network Problems.
- Reporting TX Major Incidents on weekly & monthly basis.
- Preparing Technical reports for emergencies descriptions & solutions procedures.
- Reporting Transmission network performance periodically.
- Managing the staff (Engineers) task distribution, ensuring that all assigned tasks were handled & reported correctly.
- Reporting staff performance, reporting strong/weak points and recommended trainings/Area (s) of enhancement.
- Responsible for the O&M for the following Systems:
1. Tellabs 8100 Nodes.
2. Tellabs 6300 Nodes (6350 & 6340)
-Serving Core Transmission Networks.
-Commissioning new 6300 nodes through Craft Terminal,
And integrating them on the NMS.
-Creating Protected SDH Trunks and SDH circuits (4/4 & 4/1)
-Dropping and Rerouting of STM-1s.
3. Tellabs 8600 Nodes (8660 & 8630)
-Serving Core & Access Transmission Networks.
-Commissioning new 8600 nodes and integrating them on the NMS.
-Provisioning Pseudo Wire Mesh VPNs
4. Tellabs 8000 Network Management System for above Systems.
5. Service On Microwave (SOM) and Service on Element Manager (SOEM)
6. Minilink Traffic Node Operation & maintenance (Ericsson TN)
7. Huawei OSN3500/7500/1500.
-Serving Core Transmission Networks.
-U2000 Network Management System.
8. Huawei RTN 910/950.
- Serving Access Transmission Networks.
- U2000 Network Management System.
9. Synchronization Equipment (BITs) providing PRC for the GSM Network.
10. SIAE Al series MW.
- Serving Access Transmission Networks.
- Testing and Acceptance of all above transmission nodes.
- Familiar with AXE10, AXE810 platforms.
